Day In The Life™ | June 2017
Hey Friends!
I've got the first Day In The Life™ for 2017 planned for next month on Tuesday, June 20th and a fun new mini kit now available for purchase.
I'm planning to do three Day In The Life™ documentation days this year - this is the first and the other two will follow before the end of the year (each with their own mini kit).
For this first project I'm planning to repeat one of my approaches from last year which was to focus on documenting what is happening once per hour over the course of the day. This process was made even easier by simply setting alarms on my phone to go off each hour as a reminder to stop and document. In addition to the structure of the hours, I'm going to use the rolling stamp included with the kit that features "ing" words as the jumping off point for my storytelling throughout the day. The words on the rolling stamp include: Around Here, Currently, Eating, Watching, Listening, Reading, Buying, Wearing, Trying, Wanting, Feeling, and Loving.
To hold these stories in my Project Life® album I'm planning to either use Design F page protectors (like I used last year here) or use these 6x8 page protectors and add them into my 12x12 Project Life® album (similar to what I did in October last year).
I'm planning different story approaches for the other two documenting days later this year and the mini kits will reflect those intentions.

Good morning! Would you be putting a photo on the 4x6 card or just journaling? Thanks. Happy day....
Are you talking about using the Design F page protector (that has a pocket for 4x6)? In the post I linked to my projects last year where I used these cards for journaling and then used other pockets for my photos.

So, now I have shopped this kit and some other stuff (as the delivery cost to Europe is 18 euro, so it's better to order a lot at the same time). I really look forward to this!

Cute kit! Love the colors. Do the words on the roller stamp fit in the mini ink pad?
Not all the words fit - you would need to put the stamp onto the ink or the other way around :).

Ali, will you be releasing digital versions of the cards and/or roller stamp? Being overseas, I am loving being able to use the Digital Story Kits and not having to worry about shipping times/costs....
We will be releasing the digital kit (mentioned in the post above) at the beginning of June and it will include the words on the roller stamp :).

Day in the Life is one of my favourite projects, I have been doing it for years now and love to look back on it :) I am loving it even more with all your kits Ali, there is just the right amount of stuff to make it look lovely, while not detracting from the photos or story. Look forward to using this kit in June too!

My kit just arrived in the mail and I must say that I am LOVING the roller stamp!! I can see myself getting a ton of use out of it. Also, I really like the small ink pad that comes with the kit. I don't really NEED a new black ink pad, but the combination of the pad & roller stamp is magic. It is super 'bouncy' and gives a crisp, clear image, which is sometimes elusive with roller stamps. Thanks, Ali, for hitting it out of the park with another thoughtful and beautifully designed set.
