One Little Word® 2018 | Album Set Up

Today I'm sharing a walk-through of how I'm setting up my  One Little Word® album for 2018. I recently shared a walk-through of my past albums from 2011 though 2017 to give you an idea of what the finished versions of this project has looked like in the past - you can check out that post here

Registration for the One Little Word® Workshop is underway. Don't forget that Early Bird Pricing for the workshop ($5 off) is available until 12/31/17 at 11:59pm ET.

As you'll hear me mention in the video you definitely don't have to have specific products to make your word visible or even to participate in the workshop. My intent in continuing to offer the workshop is to give people an opportunity to re-connect with their word each month throughout the course of the year by inviting you to participate in a simple creative prompt. Taking a couple of hours out of each month throughout the year to get back in touch with your word (and your intentions that go along with that word) is a super valuable gift to give yourself.

For the 2018 albums we included more page protectors to accommodate the gold foil monthly cards that are included with the Main Kit. Some things may get moved around over the course of the months but in general I'll be moving forward in this fashion. Here's a look at my album at the start of 2018 (this video will also be included in the One Little Word® classroom for January):

Awesome! While more page protectors is great, I find that I fill these binders up far too easily. So I am going to use the gold month cards that came with the kit as my monthly title cards in my PL album this year. Saves me coming up with a new design and saves me some time. Now I have to think about if/how I separate the months in my OLW binder as I didn't get the dividers this year. Cant wait to start with a new word.

Hi, I love the one little word concept! I've actually been choosing a word of the year for over 15 years, and find that I deepen into it in different ways each year. Looking forward to creating an album this year as an additional way to manifest my word.

I took the OLW class last year but didn't end up making an album. How has the class has changed for 2018? Is it mostly the same content and prompts? Or will they all be different. Since I didn't follow along last year, it will all be new to me. :)

Looking forward to playing along this year. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your set up!
I received my kit yesterday and spend some time thinking about my own set up.
I love the printed 6x8 prompt pages and that there is already something to put in the album. I hope they will be part of a future kit with the December prompt also included. And I think the dividers are the best! This is my third year with a kit and now I love both: size and thickness!

So I thought my OLW was going to be HOME. But it's ok to change right? Started reading Lara Casey's book Cultivate A Grace-Filled Guide to Growing an Intentional Life and the word DIG came up again for ME. So I will take DIG as my OLW this year, I like the word DIG. Ready to get my hands DIRTY! Because life can be messy, yet GOOD!

Will you have the OLW main kit restocked? I'd really love to buy it but it's sold out.

    Hi Ali,
Thank you for this iniciative and workshop. This is going to be my first year doing the workshop, but I´ve doing/using OLW since 2010. I saw this and thought of you and your word for this year, and I wanted to share it with you. Is in Spanish and it says: "Para que llegue lo que quieres, hay que hacer espacio."
Translation: "To get what you want, you have to make space."

Happy new year from the caribbean.
