I don't know if this has been addressed somewhere already, but are these digital products going to be next year's PHYSICAL Stories by the Month for April (like the current physical Stories by the Month that used to be the digital Stories by the Month)?

Yes, the digital products we are releasing this year will be next year's physical products for the Stories By The Month™ kit.
