December Daily® 2024 | Story 24
Tags:Welcome to Story 24 in my 2024 December Daily® project.
I always have mixed emotions as I get close to the end of this project. I'm excited to wrap it up and move on to the next (and clean up all the December stuff from my office) AND I love the playfulness and craftiness of this project. Love that there are always more stories to tell.
I worked on Story 24 and Story 25 together but am sharing them separately this time. I loved using the circle die cut page as the home for most of my Christmas Eve + Christmas Day photos.
Let's dive in to the process video:
Here are some additional photos:
I used a 4 inch circle punch to cut out the circle from the bag of candy my sister sent us. On the top of that I stamped and embossed the number 24 in gold using this stamp set. I stitched that on top of a piece of recycled paper to give it a little more stability.
Under that I added my journaling in a 4 inch circle and used a brad to attach.
I also added the "Christmas Time is here" transparency to this spread. I've been waiting to use that and this die cut circle page all month!
To punch out my photos for the die cut circle page I used a 3 inch circle punch.
I used small brads to attach my photos to the die cut circle page. Underneath I used a Medium Steadtler Lumocolor pen.

Love how this turned out! It's so fun to see the season of life you're in--my nephew this year just wanted gift cards too for gas etc, while my boys are fully in the Lego and magnatiles and coloring set phase. A good reminder of how over time this project can change so much!

I love how December Daily captures both the chaos and joy of the holiday season in such a personal way. The combination of storytelling, photos, and creative layouts makes each memory feel more alive years later. Projects like this remind me of https://eaglercraftx.org too, the browser-based Minecraft-inspired game, because both are about preserving experiences, creativity, and meaningful moments through worlds and stories people build themselves.
