Travel Mini-Class | 10x8 Album
Goodbye Polar Vortex, hello sunny Nevada! Join Morgan's mini-class as she documents a 2019 trip to Las Vegas in a 10x8 buildable album. She will be documenting exploring the strip, desert adventures, and meeting Lady Gaga's dogs (true story!) with the Ali Edwards 2022 Travel Collection.
What you'll learn
The goal of this self-paced workshop is to provide tips, tricks, and inspiration for completing your own travel album. Topics include start to finish album topics like album structure + organization, incorporating travel ephemera, innovative ideas for integrating digital and physical products, and more!
What you'll get
You will get a front row seat to Morgan’s creative process for putting together a 10x8 travel album. The classroom will feature four lessons:
- Lesson One // Getting Started: Starting a travel album can feel like a monumental task…but it doesn’t have to be! This lesson focuses on setting up class participants for success! Topics include selecting a documentation framework and ephemera + product organization.
- Lesson Two // Playing with Product: You bought all the products, now what do you do with it?! This lesson will include several "mini lessons" featuring tutorials and process videos of incorporating products in innovative ways into your album.
- Lesson Three // Incorporating Ephemera: Do you collect travel memorabilia but struggle with ideas of how to work it into your album? This lesson will also include several "mini lessons" featuring creative ways to include travel ephemera to help enhance storytelling.
- Lesson Four // Bringing it all Together: This class concludes with a detailed walk through of Morgan’s completed travel album!
If you’re looking for creative ways to build a 10x8 travel album from someone truly passionate about travel documentation, this is the class for you!
What you'll need
Most importantly your travel photos + stories! You’ll also need a home for these items. While some ideas lend themselves to other album sizes, Morgan’s lessons are primarily geared toward the 10x8 buildable album.
