December Daily 2009 : Day 20, Day 21, Day 22

For Day 20 I had slipped this great Santa illustration from Iowajewel's treasures into a page protector and created another pocket by stitching right down through the page protector. The pocket ended up becoming home for a photo about some wine we purchased (front) and some thoughts on joy (back.

Here's a look at what I printed & tucked in the pocket on the back (Christmas twill can be found here):

Here's the original:

This one is a digital page that I printed and punched holes. I had Chris take a photo of me as I was making some royal icing for the first time. Love the real-life-technology in the kitchen photo. Here's the digital page (from my December Daily Template Package No.1):

Here's what I adhered to the back (large photo + catalog piece + a couple other embellishments):

I took Jenni's bingo card and cut it to create a top and bottom frame around the photo. I used Fiskars Apron Lace border punch to create the decorative edges.

Here's the back (word art can be found here):

The original:

I also had a chance to print out the last photo for Day 19:

This post is part of a series documenting the month of December 2009. You find out more information and view all the completed pages of my album here. Share your work in the Flickr gallery here

I am going to sign off for the next few days to enjoy this special time with my family. I hope you all have a very wonderful holiday full of joy.

Look for new giveaways coming on Saturday morning.

    Hi Ali,
Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you and yours. Thanks for all the inspiration with the Dec Daily and many other things throughout the year. Know that you’re making a huge difference in the lives of others. My mum, sister and I are doing DDs together and I’ve just sent an email suggesting a Christmas Eve Joy list. So fab. Thanks.
See you online in 2010. Will also miss your Studio A very much, my favourite article in the mag because you always had something to s-a-y. Can completely understand the need to move on etc and that life changes.
    Okay, bye now,
