Love the textures! Beautiful.
all are so beautiful! 3 on the beach is gorgeous and I think I now need a hot dog with ‘kraut for breakfast! Ali, in the last photo….will I find those digital elements with “love” “always” and “wins” at DD?
My immediate thought to seeing your canvases was yay!, maybe there’s a new book coming out!
Looks like a wonderful weekend!
its simple pictures make me motivated to continue, smiling to happiness.
Beautiful!! I was in Oregon this Summer for vacation and I am in love with the Pacific Coast!! I especially loved Cannon Beach where my autistic son took off running free on that big beautiful beach! It brought tears to my eyes he was SO happy! I can’t wait to come back to your state!
These were amazing and beautiful pictures. Looks like you had a fun and creative weekend. The picture with the pencil shavings on the sidewalk does that mean you did a lot of art outside??? All these years I’ve spent teaching my kids to sharpen over the trash, thanks for reminding me it’s ok to have a mess. The hot dog makes me hungry too, good thing that’s what I planned on for dinner today.
so so in love with your artwork!!!!!!
So beautiful! I love checking your blog! There’s always something creative and inspiring!
Have a wondeful day!
Makes me want to pick up my paints again. You always inspire.
wonderful pictures–I hope these are just little peeks of things we’ll see in whole later on!
I love all those textures. On the second picture, what did you use to make the pattern that looks like a honeycomb?
love these photos, specially the canvases. wish i could see more of them…
Beautiful photos. I can’t wait to learn more about these. It looks like you had a great, creative week.
I wish my other half would understand why I have my camera every time we go out. He gets annoyed and some times even angry. It’s hard to explain to someone the love of taking photos and preserving memories when that other person doesn’t feel the same way.
What are you making now??? It looks very interesting and beautiful… Do we get to see more soon? (I hope…)
Love always wins. Reading these words was needed today. Thank you.
this makes me happy
I’m thinking something good is happening when I see pieces of your canvases . . .Yippee. Great photos, Ali.
oh so fun – looks like your art weekend with the girls. wonderful art, and i love how you used vintage music and pulled from the words of the songs. hugs.
Oh boy you must have had fun making those! I wish I had paints and paper and all those goodies here with me now!
I love your blog because posts like this one remind me to rejoice in the everyday – even in the midst of unpacking from a cross country move! There truly is beauty all around us, you just have to take a moment to look for it.
Loving “all” the comments as that is exactly what I see. Creative, love, inspire, take time to smell the roses. This blog is my “feel good” thing for everyday. Thanks Ali.
Elise, your comment to Ali… was exactly what I was thinking also. Those words were very much needed today.
It looks like it could be bubble wrap.
Looks like a perfect weekend!
You’ve inspired me…(again)…thanks!
Love Wins is a theme at our house… Love your interpretation of the phrase! (and your weekend in photos – terrific detail shots!)
What beautiful images… Thanks for sharing such intimacies. (The art is exciting!!!! Is it a particular project, or personal?)
Nice work! Nice pictures! I love your blog!!!
These textures are amazing – TFS!

very peaceful – thanks for sharing
fun! so very inspiring. already added one of these to my tumblr.
Looks like an inspiring weekend!
I actually thought the background looked like a sketchbook or something Which in that case would come in handy to dump the shavings into the thrash!
You bring old sheet music to life! Thanks for another inspiring glimpse into your world!
Awesome pics. Thanks.
The last picture with the “love always wins” quote is stunningly beautiful. I just stumbled across your blog today and found it so inspiring – I will be so excited to see what projects you do in the future! Gave you a shoutout in my new blog as well so hopefully other will be as inspired as I am.. cheers
