31 Things | Now Available As A Self-Paced Workshop

My 31-day prompt-based workshop, 31 Things, is now available as a self-paced workshop through Big Picture Classes.

From the workshop description:

31 Things is an invitation to "see into the life of things."

31 Things is an invitation to document your everyday life in a way that includes descriptions and reflections.

31 Things is about capturing life right now but will be much more in-depth on a single daily subject than the documentation you might be used to with projects like Week in the Life or Project Life. This is an opportunity to get more specific pieces of your story told with the goal of going more in-depth; get those pieces of your life documented with words.

Writing these 31 stories will be the heart of what we do over the 31 days, but our words will be supported and inspired by a single daily photo and a bit of crafty decoration.

My commitment to you is help for getting those words onto the page, an environment of support through the daily prompts, and an attitude of celebration for all of the different ways we experience life.

Get all the details here.

SPECIAL PROMOTION (that ends today at 10pm PST) | 30% off* all self-paced projects with code RINGMASTER *Expires September 17th at 10:00pm PST. Can not be combined with any other offer. Not valid on previous purchases.

For those of you who have already taken 31 Things, I'll be running 31 More Things sometime next year.

YAY!! I just signed up and watched the video and I am SO excited. Thank you Ali for already inspiring me to write! Writing/journaling its probably the most intimidating part of my memory keeping for me. I am hoping to be a stronger writer and story teller after these 31 days!

I am on Day 6 of the self-paced class and already I can tell that this will make my short list of the most influential classes I've ever taken. Thank you Ali for another class with stellar content - I've found my deepest and most meaningful layouts have been products of your classes.

If I don't have a 12x12 printer, would I then need to have the pages printed somewhere or is there a way to do this class and print at home?

My journaling is all printed on 8.5x11 pieces of paper and cut to fit. No oversize printer needed.

I am tempted, especially with the discount. Lots going on right now, but since it is self paced I can start when things settle down and then be ready for the 31 more things :)

Hi Ali, I know this is crazy late but just wanted to let you know I finished my 31 Things. I had most completed last June 2012 but finished off my last 6 last week. Looking back at my words for last year I was quite moved by my own thoughts and feelings back then. Made it even more real about how perfect this project was. Just waiting for it all to be printed and I can't wait to get it in an album. So a big fat thank you. Those stories wouldn't be down on paper if it wasn't for you. Hugs from across the Pacific Ocean over here in Brisbane Australia.
