Today I want to introduce you to a new Friday series called Heart & Soul.
The simple goal is to share something that’s lifted me up – something that’s inspired me, made me think, opened me up or encouraged me to live more fully awake and alive.
Here’s a little something that lifted me up this week:

Watching the video led me to checking out the people who produced the video: Soul Pancake. I love them. What a cool concept and wonderful way to spread good.

This was very inspiring. I was moved by a clip on WIMP where a young baby has received a cholear implant and it is turned on as he sits in his mother’s arms. This really touched my heart!

These were both amazing! That little boy is just to cute, has the sweetest voice:) And the ball pit…we should all live our lives like we are in them everyday. Every city or town should have them!

oprah has a wonderful show on her network called Super Soul Sunday that features Soul pancake segments – always thought provoking and positive. she did a great interview with rainn wilson who is one of the creators of soul pancake and i was so surprised and impressed by him. worth a look for sure.

I love Soulpancake. I have it set on my DVR. There is a show on Oprah’s network hosted by Rain (sp?) Wilson and Oprah and they do things like this every time on the show. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes so far. Good stuff.

Loved the ball pit. I especially liked that there were prompts. I tried to think of times we talk to strangers, like on the plane. How fun would it be if we had prompts to help us connect!

Your wonderful perspective on life is something that has kept me coming back to your blog day after day, year after year (I love this idea for Friday posts). I love scrapbooking, but your positive outlook (despite life’s struggles) is so refreshing. You always remind me to keep it simple and get it done. You encourage and inspire us (by your own words and actions) to self-evaluate our daily lives without being critical of ourselves. That is something that we all need. Thank you!

Oh wow. I just watched the ball pit video. I have to do this at some point in my life.
My favorite part is at then end when he says “LIKE A BOSS!” haha. I die laughing every time. I showed my husband and just waited for his reaction to that part! So good.
