Last night while the kids were watching The Incredibles I was browsing Pinterest (of course).
I came across a pin for a 52 Lists project. I clicked over to check it out and started thinking about being open (hello one little word) and about participating in someone else’s project for a change and decided it sounded like something I’d be interested in playing along with in 2013.
Thanks for taking the lead Moorea.
So maybe you might be interested too? If so click on over and we can play along together. Each week on Tuesday she’s planning to post a new list idea and a download. This would be a cool addition to Project Life or a One Little Word album or an About Me album. I think I’ll just blog my list each week without any plans to make a scrapbook at this time. Or I might just print out the pages and scan them in for easy posting. Thoughts in progress.
I’ll be playing catch up on the first few lists and sharing them soon.

cool idea: on side, one day project, other side, 52 list project!
I LOVE this idea!! My goal is to write more this year and my OLW is Story, how perfect that this fits both my goals. I clicked over and read the prompts, great ones. Will get started on catching up today.
Thanks Ali for sharing this and looking forward to seeing your lists.
I am really excited about trying this. I also started the History project by Kerri Bradford, and bought a black marble notebook to put it all in. I can carry the notebook to the office, errands, on a plane or road trip, etc., and I think it will be fascinating to look back on years from now, all from my prospective.I spend so much time recording my husband and I’s memories, but not alot about me, my thoughts or feelings. Thanks for the tip!
God Bless.
Oh my gosh, I am the queen of list-making. It’s how I calm myself down, organize my brain and clean out the cobwebs. I am totally doing this! Thanks so much for sharing the idea.
i saw this too on pinterest and already saved to do also. i’m excited about what the lists will reveal
Must go check this out…sounds fun!
Oh how I love this idea. A project that is so simple and yet, I’m sure, has the potential to inspire more than we realize.
Thanks for sharing Ali. Let the journey begin….
I LOVE this idea! Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome! I think I might print them out for Project Life. Love the idea. ThankS!
This is such a fun project! I did it in 2010 in a mini art journal. My goal was to use mostly recycled stuff for my pages. It was fun to try new techniques and we had a small flickr group for sharing: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1359120@N22/
I picked this up from your Twitter feed yesterday and it was love at 1st site, so I am saying YES to this project – not confining myself to have to keep up with every week, but will try to do as many as possible…looks like fun!
Thanks so much for posting about my series <3
Today my list prompt is about gratefulness. I have very hard news that I announced in my post today and giving myself time to write out all that I am grateful for helped calm my spirits so deeply. My family has a battle ahead, but my lists will help me along the way.
Thank you for sharing and I hope this project can be as powerful for others as it is for me!
xo Moorea
You are so welcome and I’m sending much love and peace to you and your family as you navigate this next piece of your story.
Oh thank you so much Ali <3
I really like this idea of list (especially since I’m reading The Art of Non-Conformity (I’m not pretty sure but I think I saw this book on your blog)… and on advice is to make list of things we would like to do): these 52-lists could be nice beginning for me (even if making lists each week will be hard for me). Thanks for sharing Ali, and thanks a lot to Moorea for this nice idea.
There is a book called Listography that you might like. Same concept and it is in a nice pretty book.
I just might try this as well. Seems like a great way to celebrate me and keep focusing on where I want to go. Simple but satisfying at the same time. Might be a great addition to my OLW album.
This looks neat! Not sure if I’ll do it every week, but it would certainly make for an interesting reflection. Either in or out of Project Life, it would make a fun album to do every week, accompanied by a self-portrait. Hmm…there’s an idea! =)
Oh I love that self-portrait idea. Nice one!
Love this idea! I’m am totally going to go for this one. I think I might make my lists in a ‘Smash’ book. I’ve been wanting to use one of those for something.
I will be playing catch up too. Love love love this idea….
I really don’t think it’s cool that she’s just taking them straight out of someone else’s book.
Where did it say that “Sally”? Edited – Actually I see where she mentioned that the first one was from a book – and she links to the book. Not sure about the ones that follow.
Ummm, this is weird. I’m all about lists this year too. Was just about to do a blog posts with one of my “Thirteen” lists.
So, yes, I will definitely be adding this to my list of lists!! Very cool, and I love company.
Great idea! Will be incorporating it in somehow!
Listing is one of my favorite ways to document. I hadn’t heard of Moorea’s version, but I’m super excited about 30 Days of Lists, which just started! It’s my favorite. I’ll have to look into 52 Lists as well. http://30daysoflists.com/listers/megan/
Wow what a fun idea, thanks for sharing!
I just stumbled across this earlier today and then saw it on your blog. It looks like something that I can really get into and it will work really well with my OLW album as well… love it when things like that happen!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I am so going to do this project. Can’t wait!
I had just found the website http://30daysoflists.blogspot.com
and really like this idea. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for sharing this! I did the first 5 lists today and they make great additions to my Project Life album! I look forward to the rest!
I like this idea of positive lists iso to-do lists. Tried the 1st two and they were a great way of seeing myself. I also like the idea of combining it with selfportraits. I was recently inspired again by your selfportrait set on Flickr.
Thsnks Ali…loving the simpleness of the whole project being as it is not directly decended from a scapbooking perspective. Just from that point alone there is no instant guilt to do “perfect” artwork…Thanks again…i luv ya!
I just downloaded the lists and then happened to pop over to your blog and you did them too! It must be going viral! I’ll expect to see this popping up every where soon. I’ll look forward to your lists.
Oooh I love lists!
Totally awesome idea – definately playing along! Thanks Ali!
What a great idea! I love love love lists so this looks like a perfect project for me. Thanks for sharing!
Great idea but I am having trouble with the download – i can not seem to access the file? Any suggstions? Do I have to join to get access?
When I was downloading it I had to sign-up (free) for some sort of file sharing program and then was able to download it. I just clicked the links/signed up/and downloaded to my desktop.
thanks Ali
So funny, I was thinking yesterday that I need to scrap more about ME and that I should make a Smashbook or something all about me, right now. This is so the perfect way of doing it! I won’t be doing all 52 lists but I will do as many as I feel like and document this for my kids to have one day. And I love the idea of including a self portrait with each list!
Ali, you are very organised! Great idea! I’m all about lists too! Thanks for sharing!:o)

Thanks Ali, just subscribed to her feed
I’m planning on doing the 52 lists project and using 8.5″ by 11″ page protectors and including them into my 2013 Project Life album.
