Digital Product Releases | 10.26.13 (Includes New December Daily™ 2013 Overlays & Cards)

I’ve got four new products available now at Designer Digitals including the first of several December Daily™ products.

First up are the December Daily™ 3×4 Daily Cards & Overlays.

This package includes 31, 3×4 PNG overlays for December 1 through December 31 (these are what I use on top of my photos). In addition the package includes 31 PNG files of the multi-colored cards seen above and six printable PDF files (black, red, green, grey, blue and the multi-colored version). I will be printing these out intermixing them and the 4×6 set below in addition to the Studio Calico kit.

I use Epson Premium Matte Presentation paper for printing the PDF files here at home.

A post about my foundation pages for my 2013 December Daily™ album (and my plan) will be up on Monday.

In addition to the 3×4 set a December Daily™ 4×6 Daily Cards & Overlays is also available (look for a 6×8 and a 12×12 set next weekend). These work the same as the 3×4 set above and include PNG and PDF files for easy printing (also includes the multi-color set).

Halloween 3×4 Layered Sentiments | These are PSD files and PNG files. The PSD files allow you to mask a photo or pattern paper behind the word art (see example in the preview above).

Gratitude 3×4 Layered Sentiments | Again, these are PSD files and PNG files. The PSD files allow you to mask or layer a photo behind the word art.

Don’t forget that new releases are always on sale the first few days after they show up in the shop!

Have a great weekend!

Hello! I’m pretty new to photoshop so this might be a silly question. For the December Daily 4×6 overlays… Can I change the dates so I could make it work for all year? I love the look of them!!

Hi! I’m considering doing a set that includes every day of the year. You could erase parts and do it yourself but it might be a little tougher with the months since they go over the lines. I’ve got it on my list to create :) .

I also have a question – how would it work to print photos using these overlays at say Walgreen’s where I get all my pictures printed?

Hi Michelle – you would open your photo in Photoshop and add the overlay on top then save as a JPG and upload to your developer.

    Hi Ali,
My daughter (age 11) and I ordered the December Daily kits to complete as a mother daughter activity. We would like to be able to use the overlays as well. My question is which photoshop program would be best in your opinion? Thanks for the assistance. We are very excited about this project. And we love the overlays!

Gorgeous overlays! Love that you added the color versions so we can easily use them to journal, as well. Your attention to detail is appreciated so very much.

I know December daily is only for the month of December but I celebrate the holidays until Jan 7th. could you include those dates or what do you suggest?

Hi Terri – I’m considering creating additional overlays for the rest of the year.

How long do these stay on sale on Designer Digitals? I want to see how you are setting up your foundation pages on Monday before I decide what files I want to purchase.

looking forward to doing DD!! wasn’t able to do last years, but I did one in 2011..and I love looking at it…and so do the grandkids. I don’t do digital scrapping, but I could use some of your stamps and duplicate some of the overlays..thanks for the ideas!!

Cool Laura. And even if you don’t do digital scrapbooking these files include easy to print PDF files in case you were interested in the same design.

This will be my forth year, and I continue to do the old style. I create pages that are 5×7. I think last year I edited the 2011 style to make the dates and days match. Will I be able to take the 3×4 and expand it in photoshop to create a 5×7 page? Or do I need to update and move to the new format.

Not Ali, but what I would probably do if I were resizing files for 5×7 is to wait and get the 6×8 set (Ali says one is coming soon in her post under the images for the 4×6 overlays). That way, you can avoid any possible quality problems from enlarging the files from 3×4 to 5×7. Just a thought.

Love DD! I don’t have Photoshop, is there another site I could use for the overlays? Thanks Ali!
