December Daily® 2015 | 6x8 Design Map
Hey guys! I'm getting closer to starting my December Daily® foundation pages and while I wait for my album to arrive I decided to create a "map" of the page protectors to help with my planning (and share it with you).
There is no specific rhyme or reason to how I laid this out (nor is there a perfect way to set this up). It's not based on some tried and true method for creating my foundation pages - I simply sat at my computer and laid it all out by spreading out the different page protector designs (meaning they don't follow a specific order throughout the album). There are 31 total page protectors included in the 6x8 albums - including 6 of each of the divided pages and 7 of the full page 6x8.
This map will give me a starting place for looking at the products in the kit and beginning to play with some of the products to create foundation pages.
It is totally possible (and probable) that I will move some things around when I get the album and for sure during the month - I usually move a few things around during the month based on the stories I want to tell. It's one thing I love about the page protectors - very simple and easy to move around. You'll notice after looking at the PDF that there are more than enough page protectors for spreads for 25 days.
If this is your first time with December Daily® I suggest you take a look at my foundation pages (both images and video) for 2014 to get an idea what those look like and how I generally set up my albums before December.
Download the 2015 Design Map here.
Use it if it works for you and ignore it if it doesn't!
Thanks Ali!

Ali! Please let us know about your December Daily class. It's almost November!
Also, I left a comment for you on your Southern France post regarding a travel photography course. Could you check it out and tell me what you think?
Can't wait for DD!
Details should be coming regarding the class this week. Thanks for the suggestion about the travel photo class - most of what I covered in Lens Of Joy is also applicable to travel photography - especially the lessons on vision and voice and the art of seeing. I don't currently have plans to do a separate travel photo class (Lens of Joy will re-run again next year for those who missed it the first time).

The link leads me to a 404...
Morning - please try restarting your browser. It seems to be working from my end.
Actually it's an issue when you try to download it from the email vs. coming to the actual page to download :).

Thanks for doing this! I always draw my own pages like this (in fact, I've done it for PL for 6 years now so I can decide which photos to order which size & where I'd planned they would go once I get them printed) and did the same for last year's DD and WITL in August. Makes it so much easier for me to plan--I'm such a visual person, I need a map! These will be a big help.

ok that is just the cutest "404 not found" type of screen ever, Ali! LOL
I can't get the link to the PDF to work:

Hi - you need to click the link above on the blog post itself, not from the email. If you click the link on the email it goes to the 404 page for some reason but it is the correct link here on the blog post page itself.

Is this the same style/brand of album you are thinking of using for OLW2016?
Yes - it will be similar.

Have you ever done something like this (planning/design pages) for the 9X12 pocket pages?

Hello! Thank you for creating these videos and blog posts to get our creative planning started! I think you mentioned posting the printouts for your stamp and story planning pages in the video but I cannot find where the link is for these on the blog posts?
