The 2016 Week In The Life™ kit is now available for pre-order.
A seven-day documentary project, Week In The Life™ began in 2005 as an annual opportunity to capture the simple everyday details of life with photos and words. The albums I've created are some of my most treasured in that they are wonderfully true representations of my family's life at a particular point in time. From the mundane to the profound, it's those simple little everyday moments that I treasure most.
This year I'll be documenting a week in my life in early May. You are welcome to do this project any time or join me in May. I'll be sharing my documentation process and how I work with the kit after my week here on my blog as usual. Kit pre-orders will ship the first week in April.

Here's a look at the 2016 kit:
I love this kit.
Printed chipboard circles + black chipboard alpha (includes two of each letter) + gold-foil Day of the Week 4x6 cards + 31, 3x4 journal cards (one-sided) + a 3x4 stamp set + wood veneer numbers + rubber rectangle words + acrylic hearts + word/phrase stickers + time washi tape + large plastic day of the week letters. Yes.
When you choose a kit you have the option of either a black album with a gold label or a printed "stories" album:
I'm honestly not sure which album I'm going to use yet. As you'll see in the video walk-through below, we sized the black chipboard alpha to fit perfectly on the label on the front of the black album to add an initial for you or your family's name.
These albums have a 2.5 inch spine. This is larger than the Week In The Life™ album spine last year (this album is the same width as the 2015 December Daily® albums).
Included with the kit are enough page protectors (24) to follow along with my personal plan for the album.
If you'd like to order more page protectors those are also available in a variety of designs to add to your box during the pre-order period.
In addition, while supplies last (or until the pre-order period ends on March 31) you'll receive these chipboard day of the week dividers free with your kit.

You can add anything to your box from the Week In The Life™ Pre-Order page between now and March 31st. After that we'll pack it all up and ship it out to you starting the first week ion April. Free shipping for domestic orders. $10 flat rate for international shipping.
New digital layered templates for Week In The Life™ and a digital set of the cards & stamp from this kit will be available closer to May.

YAY!!! Gorgeous!! I am so excited!! Early May, my family should be moved in to our new home around mid-April so I'm sure the house will still be a mess but I'm so looking forward to documenting a week in the life as our schedule and surroundings are adapting to a new environment. GORGEOUS KIT!

I'm soooo excited, I love everything in this kit!! (Except, I have to admit, I probably won't use that washi tape because I will be using my rolling time stamp from the day in the life kit). Do you have exact dates yet? I am planning a trip to Vegas sometime around April/May/June and I want to make sure it doesn't overlap with this project!!
Btw, I ordered my kit in like 2 seconds from when I saw this posted on facebook & I picked up the stamp with the huge days of the week. Wish you had the stamp from the storytelling with project life kit (it does have the days of the week so nicely written) on there for preorder as well... wink ;)

This is gorgeous! LOVE the colours :) Well, really, I love everything about it! Now the real push is on to finish up my 2015 album. It is about 90% done... Just need to finish up Sunday and add a few finishing touches throughout :) Thanks for making such fun and inspiring products!

I was beyond excited after I saw the instagram post last night and just giddy to see the whole kit (and all the other goodies) this morning. Done and ordered. So happy to hear that this year's binder is bigger. My last year's one was absolutely bulging. Was there a reason why you're not doing the 3x8 sizes as well this year?
But oh the gold foil. Rubber embellies. And the colors. Love. It. All.
@jamie59 opted for a few more embellishments in the kit this time ;) (and right at the same price). You can add the 3x8 page protectors to your box if you'd like to include that size again as well.

Love this kit - already ordered mine!! Maybe a dumb question, but what's the best way to adhere things like the transparent numbers and the acrylic hearts (particularly the ones that are just an outline, not solid)?
There is a vellum adhesive that you could try or glossy accents would work.

Wonderful kit, Thank you! I'm wondering if you are also planning on offering a "storytelling with week in the life" class where you go through all your old albums in a video. I would love that, as I have never finished an WITL album (but have completely finished 8 December Daily albums, go figure....)and would love inspiration to go back and finish some of my old ones as well.
Hi! No plans for that workshop this year but it's something for me to consider in 2017 :). I'll be sharing thoughts and ideas here as I've done in the past.

I just ordered. May seems a long way off to me, but I'll be patient. I spent a few minutes this morning looking at last year's album. It made me so happy to have put in the effort to document it and finish it. It's a treasure.
With documenting Christmas, Day in the Life, Week in the Life, OLW, Story, etc. I'm having a more difficult time finding something new -- but I'll keep looking for the untold stories. It does make me appreciate the little moments--like buying 5 boxes of Peeps my husband loves. That will be the story of today. Hehehe

Yay!! I am so excited to do this project again! And, this kit?! AMAZING! I just finished my album (first attempt at WITL) from last year (a little late but that's ok) and even though I didn't take enough pictures, I loved going back through the journaling and the memories from that week. It also served as a reminder to take more pictures! Looking forward to this project.

The colors are so juicy! I am usually a little color averse- a little choosy, but this kit looks wonderful. Love the double-sided color on the alphas too. Genius.

I've documented along with you for week in the life several times but I've never made an album. I always think I'll do a photo book but somehow I never get around to it. I love my December Dailys though so I'm wondering if maybe I'm just more of a physical memory keeper. We'll see what March's budget holds :)
