About AE Welcome

Thanks so much for visiting aliedwards.com.

Back in 2004 I began a blog to document the everyday life of my family and my interest in scrapbooking. Today I continue to write about our lives, create scrapbooks, share creative processes, and investigate the ways in which words & photos enrich our existence.

Following a complete redesign in August 2010, this site is now home to two blogs. The first, AE Blog, includes stories of daily living, photos, thoughts on creativity, inspirational links, etc. The second blog, AE Projects, is where you’ll find completed scrapbook layouts and memory projects, step-by-step written and/or video tutorials, product updates, etc.

To learn more about me, products I recommend, read some frequently asked questions, take a class, or view my portfolio of projects click the About Ali tab above.

Below you will find links to popular projects and posts, a video tour, and information about getting started scrapbooking.

Again, welcome.

  • December Daily® : Each December I embark on creating a month-long minibook that helps me celebrate the season. It might sound crazy to tackle a project like this during the holidays, but I’ve found it to be a really great way to keep me grounded in what’s most important to our family. View my compilation page with links to my projects from 2007 through 2011. December Daily™ is a trademark of Ali Edwards.
  • Week In The Life : Once a year I pick a week (the date varies) and document it with photos and words. I began this tradition back in 2005 as an in-depth album workshop. Since 2008 I’ve been facilitating it on my blog, sharing the journey and process I go through to collect and then work with the content. View my 2010 gallery or 2008 gallery.

In addition to the video tutorial category here on my Projects blog, all my video tutorials are available to be viewed on my Vimeo Channel: Ali Edwards’ Digital And Hybrid Scrapbooking Tutorials
