Weekend Life In Pictures

Chris looking for some new glasses after seeing The Social Network (which we both liked) on Saturday.

The kids had a little Grandma & Grandpa time at the beach.

It might be tough to see on this one but there's a boy on one end and a kite on the other.

Thanks Mom & Dad for loving these two so very much and for loving to take photos.

On Sunday morning I ran in the Eugene Race for the Cure.

Pouring. And lots and lots of pink.

Still pouring after 3.1 miles. According to Nike+ my time was 25.57. Haven't seen the official chip-time number yet (hoping it's not off by too much since my goal was to be under 30 mins).

I was happy. I like doing this kind of stuff. Good cause and good for me. Thanks again to those of you who donated! Because of you I reached my goal of $1000 for the Komen Foundation.

Heading over to the coast to pick up the kids. Gotta love fall in Oregon.

I think he's excited for Halloween. My parents found him the jacket at JC Penny's and the hat is borrowed from our friend Kim. Indian Jones may go after bad guys, Simon goes after Heffalumps (a reference to a Winnie The Pooh movie he still enjoys).

Look for another December Daily post coming later today over on my Projects Blog.

Wow you had a busy weekend....filled with fun stuff for you and the kids that's the best kind. Great job on the run and making such an awesome time. Too bad for the rain. Love love the pics of the kids and yes I could see Simon and the kite in that one picture, noticed him right away, such a cool picture. Miss Anna is looking taller too.

Our weekend was busy too, we went to pick out pumpkins and they had 5 new puppies for FREE so the kids played there for an hour didn't do everything I wanted to do there and of course we left with a puppy. The kids have begged for 5 years for one and I always said no this time I said YES YES YES!!! To all 3 kids and MERRY EARLY CHRISTMAS!!! We named him Lucky and he loves attention hence haven't gotten anything done in two days due to housetraining (so far no accidents) and consistent whines when we leave him for even a minute. He misses his brothers and sisters.

I look forward to your later post on DD....

Lovely post Ali and what fantastic pics of your kids!

Did you enjoy the movie? Our 14 yr old watched it and said that we should wait and just rent it. So I was wondering what the movie was like from an adult's point of view.

    Enjoy the day!

Love the comment about Heffalumps. I still call elephants that and sometimes have to explain to my high school students what I'm talking about.

Excellent run time! I am expecting, with baby girl due in one week...I cannot wait to get back to my running! I'm hoping to participate in the 2011 Eugene Marathon 5K, so we'll see! btw, love the coast drive photo. I live in the Umpqua Valley and there really is no other state I'd rather live in. Oregon is beautiful this time of year!

So cool; my race number yesterday was 290 in my first triathlon! Although our weather was absolutely gorgeous in coastal Georgia! Way to go!
