Hi Ali, I am very excited about downloading the online class as I have a trip coming up and love the idea of working on an album before the travelling. I have lots of supplies that need using up so that will be a bonus. As I’m in Australia, does this matter for the part of the class that is to be posted to the paypal address? Thanks.
You’ll be perfect Debbie. This is a self-paced class. When you pay through paypal you then gain access to all the content.

I just found out that I will be spending the summer working in Alaska. I love the idea that I’ll be able to document the experience without having to drag all of my supplies with me! Maybe I’ll make 4 {one for each month}

Hi Ali, I have really wanted to read it, because this summer I followed your advice to collect the moments of summer, with words and pictures and then became a mini book. It was a very nice project and also a little hard, sometimes I felt lost when choosing the materials and formats!. I am sure that with this course “on the road”, I can get new ways to capture my memories of travel and to obtain new and fresh perspectives for my future projects.

I’m a bit confused. When others are saying they ordered the “kit” are they saying they ordered all the individual items, or is there really an “everything for the album” kit? I’ve got a couple of upcoming trips that this would be fantastic for.

Hi Audra – the download limit has to do with the initial Welcome PDF. Once you have successfully downloaded that you have unlimited access to the videos and handouts. Can you email me classes@aliedawrds.com with your order number and I can resend you the email with the Welcome To Class download link.
I have spent the day with you, Ali. Downloaded everything and watched all the videos. We are leaving Tuesday for a two week trip to Israel.I am rounding up ‘stuff’ to get my album started. Thanks for all the great ideas and support.

Headed to Mexico in April- this is exactly what I needed to prepare for documenting our trip! I’m going to make a small book for each of my boys (11 and 9) so that they can participate, too! We’ll have no tv or anything in our hotel room, so this is going to be the perfect way to spend some of our evenings! It will be fun to have some of their favorite memories captured in their own words.

Im getting ready to purchase this class. I have no definite plans for travel except maybe visiting my son in Beijing, China in the fall (not sure) he teaches there.
I can adapt this book to tons of past travels, yes? I can focus on the process as if I’m on the trip and the feelings and stories will certainly emerge.

Ali, another wonderful class. Thank you! I am inspired to make a travel album for our summer trips this year. We are moving to Boston and will be doing a road trip to several places along the way. I am creating an album for myself and one for each of my children. I thought it would be a great way to capture their feelings about the move. I will buy each of them a disposable camera and also encourage them to collect items from the trip to add to the album. I am going to leave lots of white space for them to draw pictures and also add a few prompts to get them started like, “what was your favorite part of the day, how do you feel leaving your current home and moving to another, what part was the most exciting, etc…”. You are such an inspiration, and I really enjoyed the videos, instruction, and the thought process behind your album. Well worth the $14.

I am love love loving this project! I read that article you wrote a few years ago and promptly lost track of it–so glad to hear about this process again. This summer, my husband and I are taking an epic trip on our motorcycles, and I’m so thrilled to be making this little album to take with us. I’m including some pages for autographs of cool and friendly people we meet along the way. (It’s our 30-anniverary trip–some people go to Paris, some go to Rome, but not us–we’re hitting the road on our bikes! LOL)
At first I was disappointed that the kit isn’t available, BUT once I got into the work, I found that I have a TON of stuff already in my stash that I can use in this project. I’m already thinking ahead to on-the-road albums for other trips.

Got my kit and now downloaded the class. So excited! I am going to document the trip my toddler and I are making home for Easter and then send my husband the book since he’s away for a while.
I love this class! I was able to use stuff I already had plus some new stuff. I am planning a trip to Texas and this is perfect. Last year when I traveled to the East Coast I can home with lots of random bits papers that I didn’t want to throw it out but I wasn’t sure what to do with it all. This class solves that problem. Plus journaling in the moment is far superior then days or weeks later. I am also really beginning to embrace perfection thanks to your encouragement. The fabric pattern technique is fantastic! I’m happy that people like you who think “outside the box” help the rest us us with our need to create something wonderful.
I purchased this class, made my scrapbook and am now adding to it daily while on trip in Philly. I LOVE it. It is so great to add things each day, journal a bit over lunch or before bed. It’s so easy, fun and a great way to remember this trip. One of my favorite parts is that my family is helping by collecting bits and pieces and journaling too…great class; thank you for it.
Ali, just returned from a trip to Williamsburg, VA with my family. I am super excited. I know that I stillwant to do a layout or two of our trip, but I love that (after taking your class — Scrapbook on the Road) I have a mini-album already put together from our trip! Keep the wonderful classes coming…
