Hello Monday
Just a couple things as I re-adjust to being at home and at my desk again after being away for the last five days (participating in a totally awesome retreat that I'll talk more about in an upcoming post):

WEEK IN THE LIFE | The 2011 Week In The Life project is coming soon. I'm going to be doing it here on my blog from July 25th through the 31st. I hope to have a banner and more details to share later this week. If you'd like to read more about how I've approached this project in the past check out my Week In The Life page.
SOMETHING COOL | Dear Photograph. The idea is to take a picture of a picture from the past in the present. Go check it out.

Love that Dear Photograph site - what a fantastic idea. I'd like to know what brand of sandals you're wearing. I'm looking for some more supportive flip-flops type shoes for summer :)
The brand is Zealand - I think I might have purchased them at REI. I also love Teva and Chaco.

I'm so excited for week in the life. I'm currently in my 15th week doing project life and I love the process. What concerns me about week in the life, is that I have a full time job where it's difficult to take a camera. Do you think you could do a post on how to fill in the gaps when I can't shoot at work?

I have been asking and am still wondering if your digitals work with the shillouette.
Hey Ebony - I just got one a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to test it out (I don't know enough about what types of files it can use). Most of my Designer Digitals products are PNG files (at least the word art). It may be that they need to be saved in a different file format. I'd love to know if anyone has tried it out yet or knows more information.

I can't wait for week in the life. I have one of Elise's summer albums I've been filling up, and I think week in the life will be a great complement...looking at one week up close. I've been bringing my camera with me more to get in the habit of noticing what's around me everyday.

Happy you had a wonderful break. I do not comment often, however wanted to say thank you for sharing "dear photograph". I have not yet realized why, however I teared up while going through the first few... I'm thinking I'm going to have to do a project related to this. Such perfect timing, as I'm going to visit my family this coming weekend. Thank you Ali!

Hi Ali,
I discovered scrapbooking and your blog last December. I'm amazed by your creativity, and since then, I have purchased all of your books!
I would like to participate in your "Week in the Life" project, but I am challenged by technology. I will need to learn how to use your templates and how to create those awesome photo collages.
Please tell me which Photoshop Elements program will you be using? This way I can upgrade and follow your tutorials. By the way, are you planning on making new video tutorials? Or, will you be using last year's videos?
Also, will you be using the same digital templates? Or, will you have a new design?
In the meantime, I will be reading my Photoshop dummies book to get up to speed for next month.
