AWESOME! I am DEFINITELY gonna do this for once - quit talking about wanting to do it and JUST DO IT!! :-) Btw, what size album do you normally use? Just wondering if a 6x6 would be too small??

For me it would be too small - for the last couple of years I've been doing 8.5x11 with a baseball card page protector insert for each day. Check out last year's here: http://aliedwards.com/2010/05/week-in-the-life-bringing-it-all-together-%E2%80%A2%C2%A0the-completed-album.html

      Hi borcherding,
I say "GO FOR IT" last year was my first time and I loved it. At the last minute with like 2 days left I ran out and bought some supplies and just jumped in not sure of how it would turn out. In the end that is one of our most read albums. I can't wait to do it again. Good luck and just remember to keep it simple and what makes you happy.

Hi Ali, I'm going to spend the weekend hopefully looking at last years ideas from everyone and start getting ready for mine. I'm so excited to be joining in again this year, my 2nd one. There are 2 of my blog readers and possible 3 that want to do this also. I'm actually laying off the camera a little right now, just letting it rest. Can't wait to see everyone's ideas, are you going to post daily again and have a linky for us to use? Just a thought. Thanks again for all your hard work and sharing you do.

I liked the community too, thanks Ali.

Definitely daily posting and using the linky thing again (used that for December Daily but not Week In The Life last year - loved how it created some community).

I'm excited! I had forgotten until just now that it would be happening in July! Last year, I was a journaling fool, so I'm not sure if I'll be that detailed again this year or not. I made a few notes at the end of the week last year to help me this year:

    ● Take a picture of the front of our house.

    ● Take at least one panoramic landscape picture each day (to fit in a wide, skinny template spot).

    ● Don’t be shy about taking pictures in public. Don’t worry about people thinking you’re weird.

    :)

I never got to do it last year, health wise it wasn't a good year for me, but Im keen this year and I want to do hand prints of the kids as well and add that at the back each year to see how they grow as well as a cd with favourite muisc right now and the front page of the local paper, I have the papers from the day they were born and its interesting to look back on and read :)

Ali ~ you are AWESOME! Thank you for putting such a great project together for all of us to follow along. The amount of time must be enormous. And you don't even charge us for it... thank you!!

Jenny B ~ Thank you for those photo ideas!

I'm so excited. I've never participated, but always 'stalked'. Hopefully this year I will be participating as well as 'stalking'. LOL

Hi Ali, wondering about something...the week you are choosing this year is not going to be a thriller of sorts for me. My kids will be in summer camp every day, and my hubby will be traveling out of town. There are only so many ways to shoot "cleaning up the house" or "working on the computer." We took a great family vacation last week and I kept a daily journal of our trip, I'm tempted to scrapbook that instead -- but, it's definitely not a glimpse of the every, ordinary week, and maybe that defeats the intent of this project? Thoughts?

I'm planning on converting my Project Life album that I haven't been able to keep up, into a Week in the life album instead. I'm thinking I'll be doing WITL 4 times a year, one for each season. I'm looking forward to get started!

I am confused. Can you explain what the difference is in "Week in the Life" and "Project Life"? Thanks.

Ali, I see you have many great sponsors. Can you show us what products you will be using? I want to have my book and design ready. I just saw Elle's new tags and love them, I plan on using them.
    Thanks, Jessica
