Welcome to the Studio AE for Technique Tuesday Blog Hop.
February’s stamp set is “Favorite Story” and includes 8 sentiment-based stamps.
DIGITAL VERSION | If you are a digital scrapbooker or would like a digital version of these stamps they are available through Designer Digitals: Life Is Good.
Here’s a look at a layout I created that includes the new set:
I really like how this one turned out. Fun to switch things up by orienting the page on a diagonal.
For this layout I stamped the sentiments onto cardstock first and then trimmed them to the desired width. After that I cut strips of pattern paper to add on either side of the stamped pieces. Finally I added a bunch of zigzag stitching to bring it all together.
For the journaling I wrote down a few of the things I’m thankful for related to those two kids of mine.
Those great number stamps, the orange stripe paper, and the floral paper are from Studio Calico’s County Fair kit. The E and the 2 are from a chipboard set from a company called Ruby Rock It.
All the photos are from PostalPix (posted a review about them earlier in the week) and were filtered through Instagram before uploading.
Inks used include Crandberry and Outdoor Denim from Close To My Heart and Brown Sugar from Jenni Bowlin.

Love this whole layout. LOVE the new stamps…so many great phrases. Can’t wait to create with them.
Love it! Thanks so much!
So wonderful! I love how your whole LO is askew! At first I was thinking when I wasn’t really looking at the page as a whole that you never show the whole LO and then I realized (and read) that it was intentional! It’s fantastic the way you have the photos of Simon and Anna on either side of your strip going off the page and yet they’re totally there! Thanks so much for sharing! I’m so used to seeing your Project Life posts, this one really was quite a surprise and amazing wake-up call!
I love the layout, especially the journaling.
I’m excited to get these stamps. Plus I loved seeing your layout because I just did one myself where the photos were on a diagonal

What a great idea to switch the page to a diagonal! I’ll lift that idea one day. Love all the stitches and the papers and the stamps….ok love it all
Off to blog hop….
Looks fabulous.Love How you worked on a diagonal.
I recently read an article about a trend in movie poster design and tilted horizons. The idea is that it forces our brains to engage with the poster’s image and mentally correct it. Pretty interesting.
Love this set!! Must get one!!!
love the stamp set and i think your layout is amazing.
this makes me smile!!
