Day In The Life™ This Saturday July 30th

Hey friends! Just a friendly reminder that I'll be embarking on my second Day In The Life™ project for 2016 this Saturday, July 30th.

For my documentation this time I'll be using this kit that includes 24, 3x4 cards (also available digitally here) + a sticker sheet + epoxy circles + fun speech bubble die cuts.

MIXING UP THE PROCESS / MY APPROACH

My approach this time is going to be a little different than in the past because I'm ready to mix it up.

Using my iPhone I'm going to set up hourly reminders and each time my alarm goes off I'm going to take a photo with my phone and write on one of the cards - right then and there. My hope is to have the majority of the project done by the end of the day by simply taking the quick minute or two each hour to document in the moment (meaning my words + photos will be taken care of minus any editing I might do before printing). In the days following that I'll print out my photos and add my embellishments.

I'll be adding this day into my Project Life® album using Design F page protectors (you can see how I used those page protectors in the past to document a story about walking here). I'm planning this will take two of the Design F page protectors based on the amount of hours I'm usually awake.

Awesome. Just bought the kit, I'm in! I've only ever done WITL, but I think DITL is more my speed at the moment. :)

Excited for this! I've done them in little 4x4 albums, the first one this year, and last year's, and for this one I'm adding it in my new PL album. :) which I'm still crazy excited about. Looking forward to yours, as well as seeing what unfolds for me this Sat. Thanks!! Michelle t

Of course I'm in! This one won't be so easy for me (because of the flight and the Time difference) so I'm planning to follow your approach of one photo per hour and write right then and there. Excited to try a new approach. Thanks!

Can't wait! You're so brave, writing directly on your cards. I audibly gasped when I read it! Hahaha! I've decided to do index cards during the day and then rewrite them onto my final kit cards for the layout.

As always, you are such an inspiration! I'm grateful to you for sharing your talents and for keeping it real.

Planning on joining in. Love the idea of setting my alarm, taking a photo, and recording the story. Might have to try that. Think I'll go 4 x 4 for this album. Photo + words with just a few embellishments.

This approach is brilliant! Since I tend to forget about the project for hours at a clip, the alarms will keep me on track.
I may wait to fill in my cards, but the photos will be there.

I am in France and so have already completed up to 7pm. The alarm idea is just genius, so i have stuck with it easily, and I have filled out my cards as i have gone along. It's been fun and I'm looking forward to working on the photos a little and printing them tomorrow. Thanks so much Ali.

There are the number of people are discussing this topic and this is strange that what they are talking about because everyone is just typing with close eye without any relevancy.
