I can already see knitting having it's own universities! I can already see many willing to give it a shot with a little inspiration from you. Have a great time with Simon, Chris and Mickey. Enjoy and relax.

I have arthritis in my hands and ironically just started crocheting this week to try to keep them moving ... you'll find it incredibly addictive and you definitely get a sense of accomplishment right away! Enjoy... and have fun at Disney :)

Wish I could have made it up there! I live in Key West, ans even Tampa is a bit too far for just a weekend... someone needs to book you for Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.

Funny how the whole world starts to discover knitting ... But I have to admit that I had not touched my knitting needles for some time, but since about 4 months I rediscovered them. Since then I have already knitted three sweaters and am now crocheting a bear for my son (without a pattern, just designing as I go along (just like scrapbooking in a way)) and I'm having so much fun. Especially when DS comes to check how the bear is 'growing' ...

Oh, Ali, I'll chime in with the others....knitting is addictive! But oh, so very satisfying and relaxing. I actually fell asleep while knitting once. Right now I am into knitting socks. Can't get enough of the hand dyed yarns!

Knitting is a great thing for people that like to keep their hands busy! I've been knitting for years, and used to spin my own yarn---that was fun playing with freshly washed merino wool, silk, alpaca, & plucking my own angora rabbits fur :). Enjoy this new adventure!

This is great news! Now maybe you can design some knitting related paper products -- I have some gifts in mind for my knitting friends, but can't find any papers, stickers, doo-dads, etc. that are knitting related at any of my local shops. They must be out there -- just can't find them! Soon you'll be doing socks -- they were invented for airport knitting! ;-)
    Enjoy!

knitting and scrapbooking....together....let me rap my minds around that.....pause.......pause....
Ok...I can't -- they seem like two very different things to me. Both fun. I like them both very much. Have been knitting longer than scrappings....
but the combo of the two....very....interesting. Do tell us more!

I absolutely LOVE to knit!!! In fact that's why I started my blog a few years ago... to keep my mom informed of the knitting projects that I was working on! LOL! But now it's mostly about scrapping and crafts... but just a few weeks ago I posted about wanting to get something on the needles... maybe it's the cold weather. :-) Can't wait to see your knitting projects!
