For some reason, I have always loved the song "I'm Gonna Be" (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers. It has such a great, upbeat tempo to it that it kind of makes you want to be a kid again and jump on a bed, singing at the top of your lungs.

One of my all time favorite songs is "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears. This song was popular the summer after my freshman year of college. Every time I hear it, it takes me right back to that time of my life. I love how music can do that!

Rufus Wainwright's Cover of "Hallelujah" - I think the original lyrics are by Leonard Cohen. There are several versions out there, but Rufus Wainwright's is so beautiful.

Anything by the band Hootie and the Blowfish. I have been a fan for over 15 years. The lead singer, Darius Rucker, has the MOST AMAZING voice I have ever heard.
Their version on Tom Waits, "I hope I don't fall in love with you" is full of both sadness and hope.
