Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."

A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I am grateful that I found the right vitamin supplement mix to reduce my migraines to about once a month rather than many more. Looking forward to a great adventure in 2011.

I am grateful for my good friends. We can always count on each other. Sitting at a table with a mutual friend, she turned to 2 of us and said you are each other's family, aren't you. Little did she know how right she was.

I was sitting in front of my screen thinking of many things I'm thankful for... and decided to scroll up and read a few other comments before deciding which of my blessings to pick. But when I read Kanani's comments about her brother-in-law receiving a new heart from someone who had tragically passed I was again stunned by the incredible strength of a donor family that in their grief they could allow the very heart of their loved one be gifted to another in such need. Never knowing the recipient, never meeting them, wondering always in whom the heart still beats. For that miracle I'm so grateful! I can't think of another thing more powerful to be grateful for than that! Happy New Year.

2010 was the year I found out I was pregnant with baby #2. My mom has made it another miraculous year battling cancer (she is now into year 3 after being told she most likely would not make it a year).

2010 was a year of change. I am greatful for the ability to change, change of location, change of circumstances, changes in general. Knowing that if something isn't working it can be changed.

I am grateful to have a wonderful hubby who cares more about others than himself, a beautiful daughter, and to have had the opportunity to finally meet the rest of my colleagues from work. Our employer brought all of us together in one place for 3 great days - it really helped us solidify as a team!

2010 was quite the year for myself. I found something that I love doing (working with kids) and fell even more in love with my son. I think 2010 was a transitional year for me and I am grateful that I was able to understand that and "be present" in the moments and savor and reflect on them.

Thank you for sharing Ali. Your words and stories and pictures have taught me how to get to the root and reflect on what is important to me. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

I'm so thankful for the closeness my family (me, hubby and two sons) have had this past year. We are in such a great place. We LOVE to just BE together....hanging out....being together. That is a huge gift that 2010 brought to us. :)
