Bright & early.

Up very early this morning. The clock just turned over to 5:00am and I am sitting at the coffee shop in the airport waiting for my flight to Salt Lake City.

Chris was up late last night - coming to bed at 1am and I was up at 3:30am. Talk about disconnected sleep schedules. But I did have a cozy companion warming up Chris' space...one little Simon in his footed jammies. That was nice.

Tasty hot coffee I am drinking here at the moment. A great local brew: Full City

Watching lots of others who woke up early to go somewhere. People watching has become a favorite activity as I rack up the miles. Quiet people. Loud people. People traveling in pairs. People with lots of little kids in tow. Business travelers. Vacationers. Everyone with somewhere to go.

Once again I am reminded that I like getting up early - ok, not 3:30am early - but early enough to get the feeling that there is a full day ahead of me. Lots of possibilities.

Peace.

That's one of the best things about traveling - people watching. You'll have a little snow to welcome you to SLC this morning - we got a little over night. I hope you enjoy your stay - will it be all business, or will you be fitting some fun into your schedule? :)

Have a safe trip! You'll be greeted with Utah snow when you arrive. Not much, but enough to create havoc in traffic.

    Busy, busy, busy.
3:30 is a bit too early for my blood. . .actually, it's usually too soon after I've gone to bed.
Have an awesome time in the Netherlands. I am so looking forward to seeing pictures from that adventure.
