Cool place.
Totally cool place this city called Tokyo. Here is the view from our room:
Getting ready for classes this morning (Friday morning here right now). Spent the day yesterday in Nikko - beauiful shines and a temple up in the mountains a couple hours outside of Tokyo. Awesome to get to experience something so old and cool.
There are SO MANY people here in this city. Continually amazed by the sea of people moving from here to there. Never-ending. And the lights and the quiet. This place is so quiet for the sheer number of people. And the city goes on forever.
Not many things in this world make me feel small... But this makes me feel small.

konbanwa!!!! right now, i'm right here in Noborito... i'm guessing an hour away from tokyo. if only i knew i was gonna be here when you were here, i would have made a reservation to attend your class. we (by that i mean: my family) were visiting the japan's famous tower: tokyo tower. i thought it was magnificient.... and yeah, so was the people. i want to attend your class!!!! i don't know if you remember me: i was the one that tried to invite you in Billing Montana. how long are you going to be here in japan? i'm staying until the 15th of november. if you don't mind, please post where i can get a hold of you. i'm a little desperate to attend your class. i feel like i can go everywhere here in japan since the commute is a lot convenient despite the sheer mass of people. i'm have a hard time connecting with the internet here, i can't access my email however, i was to able to find your website with no problem. i am so thrilled you're here in japan_ i think it is such a wonderful place. i brought the wrong clothing, i honestly thought it was gonna be snowing since it was snowing a bit in my town when we left. i figured, they too have 4 seasons- so it gonna be snowing here too. this is my home phone just in case: 044 900 0409 or extreme137@bresnan.net (my husband's) i truly love the train here, it can honestly take me everywhere. tomorrow the 28th_ japan's date, we are heading to Nikko_ i am not sure if that's the same place you went to but i heard it's quite the amazing place. also, after i get off here, i'm going to Family Mart and get a blank book_ so i can get the shrines to stamp in it. i hope to hear from you. if not, you have the most wonderful time! and try the famous marinated unagi.

I am totally missing Japan right now! I lived and worked there for 2 years as a dancer in a show at Tokyo Disneyland...such an amazing experiance and opportunity. I miss taking the trains and being able to walk everywhere...and the shopping!! AAAhhh! Make sure you get some of that in, there are so many awesome places there. Have fun with all your japanese studenats, you'll be posing for tons of pictures, and I can guarantee they will all love your blonde hair!

Tokyo is a very cool place - and you are right - a TON of people... amazing!!
Be sure to have some Tempura and Sake while you are there! YUM!
One of my favorite places was Akihabra, which is basically the electronics mecca of the world... of course, you might not be into that geeky stuff as much as me! :)

yes, it is amazingly quiet overthere!~ even in the akiharbara district, where all the electronics are. it is something else, like a mini vegas all lit up at night, but so quiet compared to where we are.

Welcome to Tokyo.
I am glad to meet you here in Tokyo
and amazed because Eugene where you
come from is where I lived and went UO.
I was supposed to go back to Eugene, but
I am still in Tokyo somehow.
The old fashion ice cream store,
the small move theater, chinese restrant
in Spring field, the buses, the bakery & coffee shop,
Safeway, Sundance, the rock concert,
WILLAMET St. & PEAL St....
Many of them I cant remember their names,
but I still remember the atmosphere of
Eugene in my heart.
Someday, in the near future, I will go
BACK to Eugene with my family.
Thank you for coming to Japan
and making me remember Eugene!
Peace, Nagisa

Isn't Tokyo Awesome? We just visited this summer and totally LOVED it! You're just a hop skip and a jump from Guam now. How about a quick appearance on your way back? lol
