Updates.
Gotta love this shot. It was taken while traveling in New Zealand - just somewhere along the road.
The new issue of the newsletter should be coming to your in-box - it is a follow-up to the photo topic last week. If it doesn't make it there you can always check out the archives. Look for a new topic next week.
If you live in the Portland area I will be up there on Friday and Saturday at the Northwest Women's Show. I am giving two talks on scrapbooking/life art/telling your story. One on Friday from 1-2pm and again on Saturday from 1-2pm. Come and hang out.
Hi Ali! Thanks for the aezine - I've been looking forward to it all day! Glad you got home safe! Kim

That really is a cool photo!!!
I love the latest newsletter too - I'm so glad you've covered more on photography. I've always wanted to know how to do a photo collage and thanks to your instructions I'm doing one right now!!! I don't have photoshop - I have Arcsoft Photostudio which came with my camera but I've managed to adapt your instructions and it's working - WOOHOO!!! I'm so happy, now I won't waste so much photo paper! I'll definitely be doing the challenge this week :) Thanks!

I know that all too well...they accidently listed us in the scrap metal section of the yellow pages. OMGoodness, at the call we now get. Great photo.

Ali, you're one more reason I'd like to live in Portland.
Anyway, I got the wonderful newsletter last night. Love that sign as well.

I love how you see art in the most obviouse and non-obviouse of places. That picture might have been passed up by many scrappers because our creative eye still needs some fine tuning. Thanks for posting a perfect example of how to think OUTSIDE of the box. NO distractions in art people...it's all around us!

It said post on the 18th but also said Friday. If this is the wrong place, I will add it Friday... if not, here is the photo gathering challenge. I needed to jump in and do it when I read about it or it would end up like the others, a good intention that I never pulled off. I appreciate your encouragement and love for scrapping!

Thanks for all the info in the latest newsletter.
For the woman who wrote in about her young girls wanting layouts of all their occasions, while she'd rather scrap the 'moments'---I just wanted to add that she can hand them the photos and some supplies and say go for it!
Never too young to start---and a great way to get older photos out of their boxes.

Ali, glad to see that you are thus far not leaving the blog world. Times are changing for many, but I am so glad to see you still writing as often as you can.
I appreciate you and your work so very much. Thank you. Thank you, for sharing your life with me and with all the other readers. We are so grateful that you take the time to fit us into your daily life.

Ali--Had such a chuckle when I saw the picture. My husband and I own a Scrap Metal Recycling yard and it is my dream to one day open a Scrapbooking store. We always joke about how we're both into "scrapping."
Thanks for posting
