Hello from the coast...

Hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving had a great holiday.

We had the chance to come over to the coast for a week and it has been awesome. Hard to relax and "just be" at first, but now it is feeling oh so good. Here with my sister-in-law and her family in their awesome little cottage. Simon is all over Henry - and when he says "Henry" it sounds like "Harry" (we are all giggling about how quickly nicknames can begin). Simon's favorite thing is to sit on the couch and have Henry sit in his lap - keeps asking for it over and over. Love that connection. And love seeing Simon's interest in the newest member of the family.

Got to go to some awesome antique/junk stores yesterday. Looking to hit a few more today - so many cool little bits of this and that.

Plan to upload some photos when I get home (forgot the cord of course).

Peace.

    Happy Thnks Giving Ali,
    I love that you guys have a holiday dedicated to giving thanks and appreciating the good things in your life. Can't wait to see pics of Simon and 'Harry.' I just got the December issue of Creating Keepsakes and I LOVE the page you did on your brother with Henry. It made me cry.
    Enjoy your break.

    Hi ALi;
    I have an autistic nephew and I admire my sister and her husband for taking care of him so magnificently. It seems like the admiration should also include your husband and you.
    It always amazes me how Shoham (my nephew), who's autistic, shows much more sensitivity and warmth towards family members and also asks "to hold" the family's babies all the time. Shoham is our angel of pure goodness and I think Simon is yours.
    I wanted to note that you have inspired me with your beautiful creativity much before I have found out about Simon, but now I think that you need so much sensitivity for dealing with day-to-day life with him, that no wander your art is just shining.
    Happy to incorporate your designs in my life.. I bought both your books and I'll buy the third and so on.
    Yours,
    Avital, Israel

    Ali, I hope you don't mind me being off topic here. I want you to see what I did! I've commented twice on your blog that I was only barely grasping the layering of stamps concept. I still wasn't comfortable with it.
    Then on the last layout I completed, which I just posted to my blog, I realized I was doing it, except with rub-on's and typed text as well as with stamps! I'd love for you to take a look at your influence on my newest favorite page.

    I think my main problem now is that I haven't bought stamps in a long time, and since my last purchase, I have really developed my personal style. I need new stamps that really fit me. Thanks for being such a major influence in the transformation of my "life art."

    Such cool photos! Well, you know, our Prince Harry was actually christened Henry, so Simon's not that far off!!
