I work for the government agency that organises elections here in Australia so it is always interesting to see who elections in other countries are run, especially where voting isn't compulsory like it is here. It looks like it was a close race - what a great victory!

woohoo! Congrats you guys! I'm just up the road a bit in Corvallis watching all the results. I'm so happy for you guys. You must be elated! Sounds like his win was a bit of a surprise there (not for you guys but for the community) but it's so nice to see the people you know will really strive to make a difference make it into office.
