Ali- I love this! I am so glad you shared it! I love paying for someone's coffee who is in line behind me... the look on their face of PURE shock is so great! Gonna try the meter thing next- gotta love the "it's gonna be all right" sign too!

LOVE the sandwich guy, too. :) On hot days when we're going to be out running errands, I'll take a cooler with me and grab a few bottles of water. At stoplights we'll pass them out to people that need them, usually a homeless person asking for money. They ALWAYS need water.

hate to be the cynic here but I am sure those were staged. After all, it's a giant ad for Sun Chips.
my fave is the guy who puts quarters in the parking meters. :)

Some great ideas to brighten up my morning - thanks. One little thing though - isn't it illegal to put money in someone else's meter? I'm not sure (from Ireland where we buy little tickets for inside car) but thought I saw the guys on Jackass or something getting in trouble for it before...the meter fairies?! Two sandwich guy rocks.

That is really awesome - I really liked the sandwich guy too...what a great idea. The quarter guy was pretty cool as well. Kinda inspires you to go one more step and do something kind for someone.
    Thanks for sharing.

The Gold Coast (australia) about an hour away from me has Meter Maids... girls in gold bikinis.. who put the parking meter funds in. You can donate to them when you are down there. :) It is hard to tell what the time is on the beach. :)
I love the 2 sandwhiches guy..

    so cool.
I think sandwhiches do save the world.
We have a shelter here that gives out sandwhiches every day, mostly to men who won't/can't go to other shelters/kitchens.
Two slices white bread, bologna and a slice of prewrapped cheese left wrapped, in a baggie. Two sandwhiches on Friday because the sandwhiches aren't given out on Sat./Sun.
If we make extra sandwhiches then they might get more than 2 on Friday.
Scouts make them, churches make them, schooll kids make them. If everyone would make sandwhiches one day a month then maybe everyone would have something to eat on Sunday night.
