3 + 1 = 4
Hello Baby Edwards...
Our lives are changing in a very big, very wonderful way early next year.
We've known for just about six weeks now and have been doing a ton of celebrating with family (I am just over 12 weeks along).
The idea of a new little person in our lives is sinking in day by day. I am experiencing a crazy mixture of excitement, all-day nausea, grumpiness + mood swings, too-small clothes (which leads to more grumpiness), and that pure amazing this is really happening joy.
I am so hoping that I am coming out of the early pregnancy/first trimester fog (at least I really, really hope so) and am focusing on living fully and in the moment and not taking a minute of this for granted (easier said than done some of these days when all I want to do is sleep all day). As you might imagine I have a big list of things I want to do before this new person joins us and I have been crossing them off the list very slowly one by one.
Simon is pretty darn excited. He came with me to my doctor's appointment yesterday and really liked hearing the heartbeat (even though he was disappointed that he didn't get to see more pictures).
We are all pretty darn excited.
Life is a tremendously amazing thing indeed.
So wonderful! I started creating pages for my newborn long before he was here so I could just lay the photos down. Doing the same for #3 now. Can't wait to see what you create! Best wishes!

Oh my goodness, I have been thinking about when you and Chris were going to add to your family! And, OMG, you are doing it and with photos! I could not be more pleased. I'm a grandmother to a 2 year old and a 4.5 year old and trust me nothing in the world is quite like giving birth and adding to the Edwards' story. I'm thrilled for all of you. I bet Simon is thrilled at his new role. This is wonderful news and I cannot wait to follow as the time approaches. I bet the stories will be quite colorful.
