Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.
Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today’s giveaway.
Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

Something good about today is that it is hump day and that our boss is taking us all out to lunch today. Yum!
Love all the layouts – great giveaway. Fingers crossed.
The best thing about today is that my day in the office for this week is OVER! It’s all good from here!
It is a cool, crisp sunny morning and I am holding a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee. Wonderful!
Thank you so much for sharing what others are doing! I just love all the different ideas!
Today is a good day. It’s raining, but it’s a good day. I’m thankful for LIFE, I’m thankful that I have a wonderful husband that I’m able to have breakfast with every morning, and I’m thankful that I have a pet (kid) that will give me a willing kiss any time I need it (or even when I don’t). With so many things to be thankful for, it’s hard to have a bad day.

Fabulous project and so lovely to see all the completed pages/projects from other people who participated. Thanks Ali!
Today I do not work so I can start this project! I love seeing the samples and variety that people can take on this. Honestly, I’m all about copying every single thing you do – down to getting the same exact paper. This time around, I’m going to try and use my every growing stash and use it. Thanks again for such a wonderful project!
Good things about my day:
Rain! Finally- after months with none. : )
Hot coffee on a rainy morning.
Still in my pj’s. Aaahhh.
Thanks Ali, for the chance to win something so cool. Your creativity inspires me to get into my scrap room more often!
Tina- Mason, Ohio
Since I just walked in to work, not much has happened today, but I love that I can look at your blog at 7:55 Eastern, and if it hasn’t changed, I can check again in 5 minutes and it usually has.
Love all the layouts that you posted! Great job to everyone!! The flickr group has a bunch of great ones also. I stayed up until midnight last night working on my album! (It’s more fun than sleeping anyway)
Morning coffee!
Something good about today is my birthday:) My sweet husband took the day off to take me to breakfast, attend mass at our daughters school, my mother-in-law cooking lunch for my b-day, and the rest of the afternoon to spend with my family. Feeling very blessed and grateful today.
What beautiful pages and good photos. Congratulations to all of you who have moved along so quickly with this project.
What’s good about day? My husband just brought me a cup of coffee, the leaves are starting to turn, right now my life seems simple and promising. Today it’s all good.
I love seeing your album unfold- and the others sent in! So much inspiration.
A good thing about my day today is that I have my Zumba (dance/aerobics class tonight). Its a great mid-week activity for me that leaves me feeling refreshed for the rest of the week!
I love a good idea, and having one at 6:30am means I’ve already had something good today! I got up early to get a jumpstart on my work for the day, and as I was glittering someone’s 175 holiday cards, I decided how I could use your week-in-the-life project. (October is just too crazy for me to have played along.) Next year I am going to pick one week each season and put them all together into one album. (According to the plan, by October I will be motivated to follow through. I’m nothing if not goal oriented!) So thanks everyone for sharing your wonderful ideas for the project, and thanks Ali for getting the ball rolling.
I enjoy talking politics with my coworkers and with the debate last night we get lots of things to talk about.
Today’s good things: brisk fall air, leaves changing colour, taking the kids to gymnastics
Thanks for the inspiration Ali!
Loving the autumn, have just been for a wonderful brisk walk in the sunshine, can’t get better than that!
Great giveaway xx

The day is just starting, but the best thing so far is that I am hanging out with my highschool son before he heads to school. Also, it’s going to be a beautiful fall day!

Something good today is RAIN!!!!!!!!!
We need the rain–bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
{vicki}
PS–I plan to do this project the same time next year. Thanks, Ali
Something good about my day which is just starting – coffee and hearing my girls play and tickle behind me.
It’s the end of the day here in Australia. It’s been a good one. The best thing about today was that it is still school holidays and that means the opportunity of sharing a mid-week meal with friends tonight and laughing around the table – real belly laughs! Gotta love that.
P.S. Thanks for sharing all those great pages.
hi ali! love this idea! i didn’t make it everyday, but just about every other. i’m going to work on finishing it up this week.
let’s see, something good about today…woke up on time and got the kids moving without argument (that’s always good!)!
hope you keep me in mind for this stamp kit, it would be so helpful!
Today is great day, not just a good day, as I am off from work, can linger with my cup of tea and wheat toast and experiment with my new hair dryer and go to the gym later on. Simple things are the best.
Have a super day!
Rosa.
Something good? My pictures arrived today!
Something really good? Wonderful sunny autumn day!
Something really really good! My husband left later than usual today. That meant he took care of our baby girl and I gave my 3-year-old a bicycle ride to kindergarten! He was so HAPPY because usually we use the car in the morning.
Love to see all the pages above!
hi Ali
this is a fabulous project and you are such an inspiration. everyone projects are just beautiful. I’m starting my photo taking on Saturday. It’s Thanksgiving this weekend (Canada), the leaves are all changing colours and the sky was just beautiful at 7am this morning – red, pink and orange. perfect time to be doing a week in the life.
thanks so much
Julie
Since it’s only the beginning of my day and by the time you close, I’ll be driving home…I’ll give you mine now. Good today? I had two kiddos that woke up by themselves and I didn’t have to drag anyone out of bed(besides myself). Also, I giveaway on my favorite blog!!!! What I am expecting to be good today is having time to myself this evening to run errands. Thanks so much for putting these great examples here for us.
Loving this project! One good thing about today is that I get to spend one on one time with my little 6 year old son after school. Would love to win!
Firstly, thanks for all the inspiration!
Today I’ve enjoyed…walking outside in the cool autumn weather, appreciating the beautiful colours in the trees and the crispness in the air; starting to put my week in the life album together; watching my 18 month old son amuse himself with 2 small plastic horses, and remembering to take pictures and document it! So far it’s been a great day. I have really enjoyed this project!
The BEST thing about today, Wed, is my car low car level keep going off and the nearnest gas station had unleaded for $3.25.
This project has been fun and helped remind me to live with intention (“my word” for 2008). Love getting to see how other folks pulled their albums together! Today is a good day, because my inbox has emails from friends (in addition to work and junk mail)!
All these pages are so awesome! I just love this project….capturing the simple things in your day to day life. Every day that we are here and healthy and happy is a good day.
Love all of the shared projects, so much inspiration! What’s good about today? I have a project almost finished, with a sure fire plan to complete it TODAY…may even get it in the mail!
I love this project! Something good about today? My new “spa water” routine…I fill a pitcher with water, ice, cucumber slices & lemon slices. Really makes drinking water easier, and makes me feel relaxed each time I look at the pitcher!
Such inspirational samples!!!
Today is Wed, leftoverday….love it cuz all I have to do is reheat…no muss, no fuss!
something good about today… i am going for a shopping trip to my local art supplies store today, always good
and everyday being at home enjoying the presence of my little daughter!!! thanks for the giveaway!!!
The good thing about today, is that after 7pm, the test I’ve been studying 4 days for will be over! I can’t wait to get my camera back (it had a little accident) so I can take photos of a week in my life and do this project!!
Pumpkin spice coffee…perfect for this crisp fall day!
I just love to see the examples of other scrappers all over the world! Something good about today is that I managed to get all those happy packages in the mail for my sister(s) and family with a lot of cute pictures of my nehpews!! They live a 3 hour drive away, so some happy mail now and then is more than welcome for them
love, Judith

Wow, It is fo fun to see how everyone has put together their albums. I did all my gathering last week also, and hopefully will get to put my album together this weekend. Tonight is our midweek church service. My daughter is going to be in the Christmas presentation, so there is rehearsal for that tonight. I am helping out, and I enjoy being with all the kids who are involved.
tonight is Private Practice on abc !! I’m so looking forward to watching it…
thanks for a chance to win, alisa d
I’m going to go to lunch with my former co-workers! My former work partner got a much-deserved promotion, and I’m now a law student and a melanoma survivor, so we have a lot to celebrate! It’ll be great to see them again.
It’s raining today, but i am still headed for an auction hoping to find something unique.
Today is a good day because, thanks to lots of productivitiy yesterday, I only have one major thing on my to do list for the rest of the week!!
Today is a beautiful fall day…..crisp cool air, I love this time of year! I love how the leaves fall from the trees and swirl around as if they were dancing.
Your album is so inspiring……..Thank You!
The best thing about today is that I am awake, feeling Blessed and Energized and ready to go – and I realize I LOVE MY LIFE!!
Maria
Thank you so much for sharing others’ creations! Unfortunately for me, last week just wasn’t a good week to take on a project like that. But I still want to do it so I’m taking notes and hoping to do it soon!
Just sitting here in my own little scraproom thinking about how to put this all together makes me happy today! Love the project and love seeing all your beautiful pages!!!
