Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.

Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

Love all the ideas for the week in the Life project.
Something good about today was havin cuddle/snuggle time with my hubby this morning. We set the alarm a little early so that we can have 10-15 minutes of us time each morning before we go our seperate ways for the day. We started this last week it gives a good start to the day so its one of those good things that we are going to keep in our morning routine now.
    Have a great day!

I am so impressed with everyone's layouts!
Right now, I am battling a headache, so I am very grateful for a little peace and quiet and a cup of coffee.

Today was a great day because my 12 year old daughter got up on her own at 5:30 AM to study for a test she has today. She did this without her parents telling her to. She's a great kid and I am grateful for her:)

. . . one of my computers has a virus . . . the other one (8 years old) dumped all of its fonts (no idea why) . . . last night i realized i have totally lost my car registration that came in the mail a week ago, it's just gone . . .
BUT *today* there is beautiful weather outside, my kids are happy and healthy, we have jobs . . . thankful. =) (even if I do have to call the DMV)

We had a wonderful rolling thunderstorm this morning, and because it's Fall Break, I was able to just snuggle down and enjoy it in my warm bed. Love that. It was PERFECT stay-in-bed weather. And the girls went downstairs to play in their playroom after only ONE asking, so that helped with the sleeping, too. :)

Today is a wonderful day because of the small gestures.
My Dad lived in Galveston, but has moved in with us because of Ike. I was really unsure about how it would all go down, as it can be difficult moving back in with a parent or vice versa.
We may hit some rough patches. But we'll work through them, and things have been going very smoothly. This morning he woke us up with the sweet smell of oatmeal for breakfast. What a wonderful way to wake up.

Something good about today - - I actually woke up when my alarm went off (I usually hit snooze a couple of times) which meant I was awake to see the sunrise. The sun filled my room with color starting at a low reddish amber to a gorgeous gold glow. What an amazing way to start today.

-> Good friend chat first thing in the AM.

Great thing about today: my sweet darling finished moving furniture around in our room, we should now have enough space to put the baby's bed and I can now work on the decoration... 10 days before birth, never too late!

The day is just starting for me, but this morning I got to see my 4 year old display thoughtfulness when she, of her own accord, brought her teacher a flower that she picked herself. Guess I'm doing something right.
