Working With Digital Word Art from Paperclipping

Learn how to use word art in Photoshop Elements

Noell from Paperclipping set me this great video tutorial on how to use my digital word art from Designer Digitals. In this lesson she shows how to add the word art to a photo, change it's color, and then print it out and add it to a paper scrapbooking layout.

Noell is using The Story Word Art in her tutorial.

And just a heads up : Designer Digitals Quarterly Sale begins today at 6pm Eastern. A great time to stock-up!

Thanks! I heard the same thing from someone else, too. I'm so curious to know what the long way is...
BTW, I've found that I was using a long way to do certain things, too. =)

Thanks Ali (and Noell). That really is a terrific video. My dh just got me the Mac upgrade to PE6 so I am anxious to have a go with the recoloring. (Yes, a much shorter way than what I've done in the past with a 3 layer process I read on line.)

WOW, that was helpful to see. I haven't really gotten too much into digital scrapbooking and PNG files, etc, but it helps to see how easy it can be.
Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this with all of your followers. Also, I learned a great new resource to check out... paperclipping!

Brushes often come in a .png file as well as an .abr file. The .abr file is loaded into your brushes palette in Photoshop and used from that location. The .png are simply opened individually.

I'm so glad to hear that, Sarah. I really wanted to show that people can start adding digital tools to their scrapbooking hobby in small amounts. Ali's digital products are very usable for traditional scrapbookers.

Okay quick question. I just tried this on a new layout I was working on but the whole page turns the color I select and not just the (Ali words)...any suggestions? I'm on the correct layer on the side too so I'm a little confused as to why this is happening.
    Any help ?

Noell, you are a natural teacher! I have a PC not a MAC. Is there a way to get the photo and the word art in the workspace without the window tile mode? I couldn't find it on the PSE 6 in the PC. Thanks, Ena
ps I'd love to see all the images I'm working with!
