They are the most awesome, wonderful Grandparents. And they take photos.

Love you guys. Thank you for always being so supportive of all of us. And thank you especially for the amazing gifts you have given Simon of time and love and adventure. You have made a difference in his life.

And they have (and will be) making a difference in the lives of everyone your son comes in contact with. Very touching entry. I'm glad you all have your parents.

I love these photos - anyone can go to the beach on a sunny day and take good shots - but these photos with the mystery and allure of the fog make them all the more spectacular!

Fog is just the best. It really can evoke such a vivid feeling of how it felt to be IN the photo.
And I hope that my legs look as great as your mom's when I'm a grandma!!! ;->
You say it so often and I will affirm it: You really are so blessed. (Wanna trade lives next go 'round? J/K!!!) LOL

The pictures, but mostly, your words, brought tears to my eyes. You family (especially the children) are so very blessed. And the best part of that is that your spirit is alive and sensitive enough to know that. So many have know idea. Enjoy your weekend, Ali :)

Your mom is one of the sweetest, thoughtful, most peaceful, and encouraging people I've ever met. I love her, too, and I'm so glad that you shared this post. It's awesome.
Plus, I totally dig your mom's hat -- GREAT!
    =) Liz

You're all so blessed. Your parents seem like warm, loving, fun people. From following your blog & Jessica's, I can see that your parents have raised creative, positive, thoughtful people. I'm sure your brother is the same. The pictures are amazing. I wish...no, I long to live on the Oregon coast. It's beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Ali.

Just like the last comment Ali - so many of your posts make me teary eyed. You do a great job with words and photos - the story comes across so incredibly well. The design elements compliment rather than hold the position of importance. Bravo.

My children have incredible granparents as well, and I often find myself marveling at this blessing in the children's lives.
Committed, beautiful, nurturing, fun-loving relationships with those who love them = so important for our little ones!
btw, I *love* the photo of grandmother and grandson playing tag in the surf.

I am so blessed to have such amazing parents too (and they take photos as well! lol!) Having grown up with one set of grandparents choosing not to know us (being children of a bi-racial marriage) and the other set whom i adored living 4000km away across the Pacific ocean, I know I REALLY cherish our kids' relationships with their grandparents. Loved those photos too.
    Bless you Ali,
    Lusi x

That's awesome!! He's a lucky kiddo to have a family like that. But I'm sure they feel as lucky to have him in their lives. Just how that works, huh?
