Our Own Story This Summer
For the last two weeks we have been adventuring around Italy on a big
family trip with Chris' parents and sister.
Yesterday we did one of those crazy up-for-24-hours+ flight series home to Oregon (Milan/London/Chicago/Portland). We are all exhausted and filled with tons of memories.
I'll post more once we have a chance to get settled back here at home.
Gorgeous pic of a gorgeous family!
Can't wait to hear the stories, see the pics and live vicariously through you.
I was born in Italy and haven't been back in a long time. My grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins are all there..someday..someday!

BEAUTIFUL family photo! You look so trim and happy! Looking forward to seeing how you tell this story.
Along the lines of your summer series, I've really enjoyed Paperclippings' posts on scrapbooking a vacation (they can be so overwhelming). If you haven't seen that series, it's at:

I could tell just from the first photo that you were in Europe! After living in Germany for the past 2 years and traveling a bit I have learned that Europe has a distinct feel too it. I am glad you were able to slip away for a bit and spend time with your family.

Looking forward to seeing how you scrap your trip! We took a 12 day trip to Italy, Croatia, Greece and Spain at the end of May and I haven't decided how to scrap the trip yet. Have loved the guest bloggers ideas but can't wait to hear & see what you are going to do!

Okay I just posted on today's post asking where did you go.. but nevermind! I see from your photo you were in the same place we were!! We rode on that same carousel! That was Florence, right? We went to Rome and I'm getting all the piazza names confused right now! LOL!
That family picture is awesome!! Didn't you love some of the artists lining that piazza selling their pictures and the outdoor cafes? And we were able to catch 4 different musicians in that square playing live music. I absolutely love that kind of living. (Though it was VERY hot, wasn't it?!!!)
Glad you are home safely. :-)

Italy is a fantastic country and every region and cities of Italy is a small world apart with a history all its own.
I,clearly, am biased, but Italy is a small work of art for those who live there
