Silent Night is my favorite. In our church, this is the last song we sing together on Christmas Eve; the lights are turned off, each of us holding a candle, and we stand in a wide circle around the worship space. That moment is Christmas for me.

White Christmas by Bing Crosby. I can remember singing it while making cookies when I was 12 and it was snowing outside and an ice storm was on the way. I missed the chance to buy the music sheet from '40s at an estate sale last week for $1 so I shared the lucky woman my memory story to enjoy as she plays the piece on her piano.

Favorite instrumental Christmas piece, Gesu Bambino. Favorite hymn would be Of the Father's Love Begotten, though some folks stick it in the Lenten section of the hymnal. :) I think it belongs in Advent.
