A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

Something from 2010 that I’m grateful for…my brother-in-love’s new heart! My brother-in-love has had heart problems for several years now and has been on and off the transplant list for quite some time. A few months ago he was given the greatest gift of all…a new heart! He has made such wonderful progress in his recovery and looks happy and so healthy now! We can only hope that the family who lost their loved one has healed and knows how truly grateful we all are for the gift they have given him.

This year (at school) instead of complaining about at-risk group of boys failing socially academicaly and behaviouraly, we launched a highly successful intervention program that has had amazing impact on the 23 boys we are working with…I am grateful for the people who put their heart and souls into this task…and for the lessons I have learned from the boys. In 32 years in education, it has been the most impactful thing I have ever done.
