Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I am grateful for so much in my life, but if I had to pinpoint one thing from 2010 it would be the growth I have discovered within myself and my young family. As my daughter grows (14 months old) and our family expands (expecting #2 in June) I love that I am open to new growing opportunities and new roles. Here is to much more growth in 2011

I am thankful that my great-nephew, who was born this March, is healthy. At 3 months old he had surgery to allow his skull to grow (soft spot grew closed too soon)...yesterday he was crawling all around my house getting into everything possible! Love it!

I am grateful for the long sabbatical I've been able to enjoy as it gave me the time to really consider and decide what I want to do next in my life! Who would have thought that getting laid off would be such a blessing? Now that I've decided, watch out 2011! You are mine! LOL.

I am thankful that my marriage is alive and well! Jan. 2010 found us struggling despretely-so much so that I made the descision that, if things didn't improve by October, I would move on. Sept. found me in the ER with what we thought was a heart attack. Thankfully, it was not--but I call it my "attack of the heart". It was the turning point and our marriage is back on track and thriving in ways we never even dreamed of! God is good. Sometimes you have to go through the valley...but He goes right there with you and sees you through! New years eve...found us standing in front of our minister at the watchnight service, holding hands and taking communion together. One word for 2011--PEACE.
