GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.
Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

My favorite spring cleaning tip is to have a fabulous, reliable, house-cleaning fairy that comes to visit me once a month ... that an a seasonal purge of all winter & fall clothes as we switch over to spring & summer attire. Thanks for the chance to win.

break up the tasks into smaller tasks and take one at a time -- that way you feel like you're accomplishing things along the way!....and i love to open up all the windows and just air the house out after a long winter!

Spring cleaning tip huh? I clean my guns every spring but I'm guessing your talking about house cleaning. Well since I gave up the outhouse for an easier lifestyle I'd have to say Springtime makes it so I can see all the garbage that got blown out of my cans from all the wind and the melting snow so my tip is to wear puddle boots when cleaning the yard.

I open up all the windows, switch out all the sheets on the bed, turn on some happy music, and open up the closets. The closets get the once-over, then everything else gets cleaned! Thanks for the opportunity!

My favorite spring cleaning tip is go through the junk drawer and get rid of the junk for the past year. If feels so good too get rid of the junk that has collected up. It's very uplifting to say the least.

My spring cleaning is mostly cleaning windows - inside and outside - just makes it feel better. Seems like I've been paring down things for the past couple of years - never ending!

I spring clean as the weather permits. On day where the temps hit the 50s or 60s I throw open the windows, crank the stereo, put on my shoes (productivity hinges on shoes unfortunately...I'd rather be barefoot, but then nothing gets done) and clean. It takes a couple of days, but it's soooo worth it.
Also, I enlist the kids. They helped make the mess, they can help clean it up. :P

I motivate myself to spring clean by inviting someone to my house - then i am forced to clean!

My tip - take it in small chuncks, and give give give - all those things you don't love or don't need can go to a thrift store

First I make a list and the list is very important because it keeps me on track of what needs to be cleaned. I usually end up doing everything on my list and that is one cleaning tip I recommend.

I put a large table in the garage every may to stack with my giveaway-sale items as I get to it thru the month...by memorial day it has to be down, then I straighten the garage for the summer.

I think the best idea is to start in a couple of rooms ( so as not to get bored and quit) and do a complete corner at a time. That is if you wait as long as I do!
