Studio AE Blog Hop | July | Scrapbook Layout

Welcome to the July 2011 Studio AE Blog Hop featuring my new stamp set Get Outside from Technique Tuesday.

Here's a look at this month's stamp set:

Here's my layout:

Nice and simple featuring 4x6 photos (cropped to fit across the page) with lots of letter stickers.

Here's a few close-ups:

These small letter stickers are from Lily Bee Design and they come on a 12x12 sheet. I added a word to each photo.

The sentiment from Go Outside was stamped on white cardstock using Jenni Bowlin ink. Under the stamp I hand-wrote "summer beginnings, twenty-eleven." The yellow edged circle sticker was cut to fit in that space.

Love this layout. I have been taking photos just like these for a summer layout. I am thinking this stamp set would be a great added touch.

I was drawn to the simplicity of the layout. Love the ease of using 4x6 photos. I like that the pics are candid not posed. My 9 year old would be right at home playing Harry potter with your son!

I love stamping on layouts. I do not know why I have not done it more often. I'll have to change my style I guess, since I love your layout.
