June Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop
Welcome to the June Studio AE from Technique Tuesday blog hop.
June's stamp is called Life Right Now:
A similar digital version of this set is available here.
Here's a look at my layout:
Simple white cardstock background. Outline machine stitching. Simple photo (that I love). Simple journaling about her life right now at age 3.
Here's a look at some of the details:
I started out by using my sewing machine to stitch a foundation and then embossed the "life right now" stamp with Zing Brown Sugar embossing powder.
Underneath I cut and adhered a flower accent from Crate Paper's Pretty Party Chipboard Accents.
Above the photo I added the circle three which was cut (with a circle punch) from Crate Paper's Tag Cuts 12x12 Storyteller Paper. I added another line of stitching and some more of those wood veneer stars from Studio Calico (using glossy accents).
Below the chipboard flower piece I embossed "love this" and added stitched lines for my journaling.
In the opposite corner I added a couple words.
On top of the flower chipboard I stapled a letter "A" from the cork alpha is from Close To My Heart.

I really like the white space, the colors, and how you used a piece of a larger stamp for the "love this". It feels very spring into summer :)

LOVE IT! (As usual!) You are such an inspiration to so many.
I have a question about that Epson printer. I have been thinking of getting one for scrapping on the go and looked at this one and the Epson Charm. There is a big price difference between the two - are the features of the Show worth the extra cost over the Charm? I have also heard that the ink/paper combo is expensive and that the ink doesn't last long. Any comments or suggestions? Do you like it better than the Canon Selphy that you had?
