One Little Word℠ 2013 | The Reading Of The Words

I’m so excited to have Liz Lamoreux join me again for the third year in a row for the reading of the words. You can hear her read the 2012 list here and the 2011 list here.

This is one of my favorite parts of sharing this project.

Click here to listen to the reading of the words.

Liz is a dear friend, a wonderful retreat leader, and a jewelry designer. Check out her beautiful collection of soul mantras and other stories in her etsy shop. She made a new one for me this year - the heart design fit perfectly with my word  for 2013.

Registration is still open for my workshop One Little Word℠ (and will remain open throughout the year). The simple premise is to make your word more visible for you throughout the year with a single, focused creative prompt at the beginning of each month. Joining up is not a huge time commitment over the course of the year and you don’t have to be into scrapbooking to participate.

I really wanted to order one of Liz's necklaces, but my word ("Perspective") is too long to fit on any of them :-(

Thank you Ali and thank you Liz. I have so enjoyed and been inspired by the reading of the words and this year was no different. The spirit and passion of each word is so beautifully captured in your reading, Liz.

Lovely, as always. I gifted a friend one of Liz's pieces over the holidays. So special.

Thank you Ali for sharing with all of us where you got your nrcklace from for your OLW. My word is "smile" this year. I ordered the SS necklace and it is beautiful. I hope to make lots and lots of people smile in 2013.

Oh and I just joined your stamping club and my first set of stamps is on it's way. I am thrilled. Have a wonderful Friday.

Thank you Liz and Ali, this is beautiful again this year.

Ali, my 23 year old daughter finally chose a word this year. For weeks she kept saying I'm too busy and what do you mean find/pick a WORD for the year. Same thing last year too. A couple weeks ago she called excited to say I HAVE MY WORD MOM and kept thanking me for telling her about this.

Her word is UNION... mind, body, soul she said to come one with all these thru her yoga and life this year. Every couple days she tells me THANK YOU MOM and she's so happy with it already. I'm so thrilled that she found one this year and hope it brings her happiness and peace in her life.

So thank you Ali for helping me have this special connection with my daughter.

After much pondering...and trying to force the word, which btw did not work...the word Purpose popped into my head. So not even a word I was thinking about! LOL It all came about with this the midst of chaos (at work mostly) just be peaceful on purpose! Looking forward to a year of purpose...thanks Ali!
