    Hi there,
Has anyone worked with the ‘Oh summer I love you so’ cards yet? I tried to print out the ‘Enjoy Summer’ card (recolored the black to yellow first) on paper and the word ‘enjoy’ comes out so very thin that it is almost unreadable. I tried to enlarge it, but with the same results. Am I doing something wrong or is it maybe because I have an inkjet printer? Would love to hear what your experiences are. Thanks!

Hi Carolin – I just tried that card out on both photo paper (on top of a photo) and onto plain paper via my ink jet and both looked okay – all I did was open the file, recolor, and print directly from that file. I’m uploading a photo as an example. A couple thoughts came to mind – (1) is the yellow too light? or (2) is the cardstock or paper you are using a really heavy texture? Here’s a link where you can see the two I printed: http://aliedwards.com/wp-content/gallery/personal-ads/ae-enjoysummer.jpg

      Hi Ali,
thank you so much for looking into this and even printing out two examples! The two cards you printed look great – nothing like mine. I think it must be either my printer (quite old) or the ink quality (I did not purchase the most expensive variety). Thanks for your help! It is very much appreciated :)

These look great! I wish it was summer here at the moment to make use of the Oh Summer I love you cards right now rather than waiting another 5 months!

Love these Ali! Have you thought of creating more story cards using products like these? Would love to see more story cards…especially with squared corners!
