December Daily™ 2013 | Day Six
Welcome to December Daily™ 2013 | Day Six.
Seriously awesome snow day here. Snow is not something that happens every year so when it does everything pretty much stops.
This year it snowed all day. It's snowing as I type up this post.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Here's my Day Six:
I decided to do a single enlarged photo (measures 7.25 x 8.5) of Anna out in the backyard. I actually took a bunch of photos today that I'm considering adding to the back - lots of what was happening around the house. I might do that tomorrow.
On top of the photo I added "bring on the snow" which was cut with the Silhouette using vellum and stitched onto the photo.
Around the outside edge of the photo I used the thin washi tape from the Studio Calico kit. I added journaling around the edge as well.

Your page is absolutely gorgeous (as always)!! And I am jealous of your snow...here in NY where we should have some, we barely got any + haven't had any stick.
I just realized I just received as a gift the same sewing machine that you linked, and I am trying to learn how to use it on layouts (I used to sew, so I know the basics for using it on fabric). I was wondering if you have any problems sewing over embellishments + what types of things you can and can't sew over? I've seen people sew on all sorts of things [i.e. wood veneers] but I'm scared it will break the needle/not fit under the foot. Do you have any tips? Thanks!!

Love the journalling round the photo. What is the best pen for this?

Wow, so cute :)
I love the title right over the picture, and the stitching adds just a nice little extra touch :)
