Punctuation Scrapbook Kit | Ali Project #1

I love, love, love the graphic patterns and designs in our Punctuation Scrapbook Kit

Today I'm sharing a page made using one of the pattern papers from the kit. I actually put this together a week ago and when I was done I opened up Instagram and saw that Denine had made a similar project also using this pattern paper. I love that she and I saw something similar in this particular paper: it's a great home for words + embellishments!

Let's dive in to the video:

Here's a look at my project:

I printed my photo 9 inches x 12 inches and cropped the pattern paper to the same size.

For embellishments I started with the large pocket heart (I think this was released for Week In The Life™ last year) and then dove into my stash for the plastic hearts. On top of the plastic hearts I added plastic phrases from a past release.

For my journaling this time I used Maco Sticker Paper in between a couple of the quotation mark rows. I set up text boxes that measured 8 inches wide x 1.5 inches tall and then printed it on the sticker paper and cut it up to add it to my pattern paper.

And yeah, ignore the date! It's close enough!

I cut out one of the quotation marks from the leftover pattern paper and add the "this matters" plastic phrase on top. I added another plastic heart underneath to create consistency between the two pages.

Have you used this kit yet! Add a link in the comments if you've shared!

Great idea for that paper! Thank you for sharing. Love how Betty is laying on top of her, I didn't even see her until you mentioned it and it made me laugh!
