Inside Inspiration.

Wanted to share that I was interviewed a couple weeks ago by Lain Chroust Ehmann for Studio Friday's Inside Inspiration. You can read the interview here.

Been turning off the talk radio and turning on the music lately. I am all over listening to Cindi Lauper and Sarah McLachlan singing Time After Time - seriously can not stop playing it. Mixed in with that is still lots of Johnny Cash, The Weepies, Jack Johnson, and Alanis Morissette singing King of Pain from MTV Unplugged.

I also met an artist named Heidi Jantz last weekend in Spokane who shared a CD with me - it is lovely folk. So my kind of music. You can learn more about her here. So cool.

Great interview! As always, Ali, you inspire me. I'm loving Time After Time, too...have a listen to Cyndi's The Body Acoustic if you haven't yet... I think it's her best work.
    Have a lovely evening!

Hey Ali, nice interview! I just discovered new music, Cat Power. It may be old news but she rocks! Very raw, Joss Stone, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, mixed with David Gray perhaps? Hmm, if you haven't heard her check her out!

Loved the interview......and so true. Thanks for posting about the Cyndi Lauper album. I heard the "Time After Time" cut a month or so ago and knew nothing more about it. I loved it when I heard it then and so happy to find it now. Loved Curious George (the movie) and the Jack Johnson CD.

I love Johnny Cash! I watched Walk the Line and I loved the music so much that I went and bought The Legend of Johnny Cash. Awesome CD. It's so much different than what I listen to, it's refreshing. It's almost as if he tells a story when he sings his song. I love his live version of A Boy Named Sue. Awesome! ("What could I do? What could I do?)
If you are into new music you should check out Flook. They are and Irish/English Folk Band. All instrumental. I just saw them in concert. Awesome. http://www.flook.co.uk/ They play as fast as a hummingbird's wings flutter. Check it out if you get a spare minute. (Yeah, I know those are in short supply.)
