Good times.

Home safe and sound after a whirl-wind round of classes at Youngplay Memories. Great time - so many familiar faces from past events in California and a bunch of new ones (including two wonderful women who came all the way from Hawaii). Thanks everyone for coming and playing and laughing and experimenting and trusting the process.

A big thanks to everyone for the Autism Auction on Saturday night - over $2000 was raised for Autism Speaks. Thanks to Youngplay Memories owner Nancy for suggesting and organizing and being so supportive.

Today I am busy recovering from all the fun and getting ready to head to Savannah, Georgia on Wednesday for the I Remember When convention.

Thanks for all those tips for my neck. It is still a bit sore, but better than it was the other day.

Attitude today: it's all good.

I had a ball Ali. Loved getting messy. Really weird how the patterned paper in the Today You class worked out with everyone's photos. You kept saying it would and it did. I'm going to try cutting some masks out of shelf paper. I'll let you know if it works. Enjoy your new fridge. When I get mine on Wed. I'm going to take some photos and make a scrapbook layout. Thanks for the fun.

I don't know of you've traveled to Savannah or not, but if you have time, I highly recommend The Lady and Sons Restaurant. It's owned by Paula Deen and her food is fabulous. Yum yum yum! Glad you're feeling better and have so much fun!

Thank you so much for an amazing experience, Ali! I learned so much and had such fun trying new techniques and using products in ways I never would have thought of by myself. If you come to Youngplay next year, I'll so be there, girl. Eight hours of driving is totally worth it. Loved meeting you, chatting with you, and learning from you. Thanks again!

Thank you, Ali, for such an amazing class on Friday night. I only wish Doris and I could have taken your Saturday classes, too. You were so fun and funny and the mini book was awesome. I've already started making another one, I just need to add the photos and emboss the cover.
I hope you feel much better soon.
    Cheers!

I had so much fun in your Today You class Saturday! What a pleasure it was to meet you and be inspired. You totally had my friend pegged about being a perfectionist. I thought that was great! She doesn't get told to relax enough! LOL! I was dissapointed to have to leave early, my son got really sick that afternoon. I missed the auction. So glad to hear how successfull it was. Hope you'll make it back to Tracy sometime!

Savannah is one of my favorite places. It's soooo beautiful. When I was there a couple of years ago I was hoping a piece of the incredible architecture would fall off one of the buildings ao I could take it home. If you get the chance make sure you go and eat at "the Lady and Sons" in downtown Savannah. You know, Paula Deen's restaurant. It's amazing!!!!

I had such a great time this weekend. I loved all three projects and the vibe in the classroom was so chill and fun. You are such a cool chick!!!
When I got home I showed my hubby my Today You book and I looked over and he had TEARS in his eyes, TEARS!! I varied mine slightly so I made a page for each member of our family (including the dog and cat). I started laughing because I had tears in my eyes too. A simple project with sooooo much meaning! Thanks for everything.
Be safe and have fun in Savannah.
