An after-school conversation with Simon.
Me: Hey Simon, what should we get Auntie Liz for Christmas?
Him: The race cars.
Me: How about Uncle John?
Him: The Thomas Tent.
Me: How about Grandma Pati?
Him: Cousin Henry.
Me: Well, Grandma will get to have Cousin Henry for Christmas because they are all coming here. How about Daddy, what should we get for him?
Him: Mr. Potato Head.
I love those sweet conversations with my 4 year old as well. Hope you're writing them down, because they are going to be so fun to look at and read in the future!

Write it down, now, as they grow up so fast. Too fast.Very cute conversation!
Quick question on the December album: what are the clear pages made from? And are those just regular rings to hold things together?
I've been taking December pics, but haven't put an "album" together. Thanks!

I just busted a gut laughing at the thought of Simon handing Chris his gift and inside is Mr. Potato Head! I am still laughing at that one. The others, while cute, aren't nearly as funny. It's like your little guy knows how to handle a punchline, Ali. Shhh! Don't let Daddy know!
Still laughing!
Thanks for that treat!

Think he could come up with some great idies for some of my fam Christmas gifts? I believe Simon has the right idea- EVERYONE should get at least 1 toy for Christmas. Right?

I like Simon's ideas...give others what you really want. On the first day of Christmas shopping the only person I had found anything for was myself. Also, if you know that you'd love it there is a good chance that someone else will too.

I recently purchased your book - Life Artist, I absolutely love what you bring to the world of scrapbooking. I rip out every one of your pages in the Creating Keepsakes magazine and catalog all of them! Its so cool to see how Simon has progressed. Thank you for sharing your stories with the world. You are a blessing to more people than you know!
