Creative Saturday.

Thanks to jmbmommy's comment yesterday I learned about a very cool weekly podcast called Creative Mom. This is the kind of thing I like to listen to when I am making stuff & working (and sometimes walking on with my ipod - LOL on "walking on my ipod"). I am excited to go back and listen to her archives for more inspiring thoughts and information.

In addition, check out Tim's blog today for some information on doing something good (we can all do a little more of that in our lives).

Ali, I've visited Tim's blog and made a donation. Very worthwhile. I really hope others who read the blog will check it out. On the heels of the holidays I think it's important for all of us to reflect on all of our blessings and try to be as generous as we can.

The Creative Mom Podcast is absolutely wonderful. Amy has a great voice, and her thoughtful, thought-provoking show has really unlocked my inner artist. I love how eclectic it is.

Treat yourself to Creative Mom! Just be careful; everytime she talks about a book I seem to order it.
Also, please don't walk on you ipod - it's never good for the ipod! ;)
Thanks for all the inspiration you give me!

Hi Ali, regarding the wonderful word for the year concept - I couldn't find a single word that said all I needed to inspire me for a year so I selected five with aliteration that I just love: Priorities, patience, perspective, perseverance & prayer... To get a daily reminder, I've programmed the words into my cellphone's alarm and at 5:30 every afternoon, the words flash up on my screen and give me that little boost/inspiration/prompt to use the words and their message in my day. Tahnks for teh brilliant idea!

thank you for posting about Bernie and A Place to Bark. I am also donating an artwork to the cause as well as Tim Holtz. She is badge #4 right now so we need to work hard to keep her in the top 4 to win the $50,000.
You are such a sweetie for helping out!!!
