My biggest photo struggle is lighting. I never get the settings right for the lighting, and then when I down load the pictures and edit them, I can't get them to look right either. I take a lot of pictures but out of 200 pic's maybe 50 will be good.

Definately my biggest photo struggle is knowing how to manually adjust the settings on my camera, the more technical stuff....yikes!

With a large family (9 siblings plus spouses, the spouses' families, the nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends)every day occasions end up being a huge party. Holidays and special occasions even more so, so I take a lot of pictures (7+ rolls of film just at Easter!!). And since I haven't crossed over to digital yet, that means printing all of the photos. My primary struggle comes in deciding which photos to scrap because I truly do want to use them all!!! While I'm getting better at paring down, I really think Stacy's book will be a huge help in releasing me from the guilt of not scrapping every single picture.

Hi Ali! My biggest photo struggle is having the right kind of lighting. The flash just drowns everything out!
    Thanks! Vicki A.

I have many struggles when it comes to taking photos, but the biggest one is that what I see in my mind is not comes out on the camera. I just can't seem to get those cool shots-whether it's the angle, the light, the subject. My 6 year old radomly takes pics with my camera and she really has an eye-hers are way cooler than mine:( It's rare that I get anything even cool to scrap-IMO.

Most of my photos stay on my computer and never get moved into a format that I can appreciate and share.

I think my biggest photo challenge, is just organization. A bunch of photos sitting in a box can be a little overwhelming sometimes!

My most frustrating photo challenge is just getting my pictures in order and actually scrapping them. So many photos, so little time. Plus, I get nervous scrapping my own photos. I do just fine for others, but hesitate with my own!

Hmm... my biggest challenge is finding a great way to enjoy my photos before I scrap them. My son loves to look through his grandparents photo albums and I want to figure out a great solution for us.

My biggest struggle I would say is: organization. I try to take as many photos as I can, but I cannot organize them to save my life. :(
    Thanks for the chance,
    Jen

Biggest struggle ---> digital makes it so easy to take LOTS of pictures, so the struggle is to go through them right away and get rid of the ones I don't need/don't want

Wow...how are you going to sort through all of these comments...bless you girl for taking your time for us.
My biggest photo issue is, now that most of my pics are on the computer (except when it crashes and I lose a bunch of them...sniff), I don't have a good way to keep the "stuff" (ticket stubs, brochures, receipts, etc. that go with the event) organized so if and when I'm ready to scrap that page I can find it. Consequently, I don't get started because I have to figure out my pictures (select, size, adjust, print and hope I don't run out of ink) and then find the stuff to go with them, then pick out the papers and embellishments, then lay it out, then I might get one page done two days later! I'll never get caught up!!!!

My biggest photo struggle is narrowing down what photos I want to scrap. I'd scrap every photo if I could.

My biggest struggle is remembering even what are the photos I have taken! Also, without my own printer, I often procratinate over devloping my pics, thereby pushing them even further in the attic of my mind=(

My biggest camera difficulty is using my tripod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am always taking pictures of everyone else, but my own family asks:"Where are you in the pictures?"
I have a beautiful tripod and a neat gadget that hooks up to the camera and has about a 20 foot air cord that allows me to be in the picture while taking the picture. All I have to do is BE THERE AND PUSH THE BUTTON ON THE CORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Sounds so easy doesn't it?
It is, I just have to do it!!!!!!!!!!
When we think of why we scrapbook( fun and keeping a photo journey of our growing family) shouldn't I be making the effort to being in the picture?
Hope I address my own challenge!!!!!!!!!!

My biggest struggle is too many photos. I struggle with the decision on whether or not to print as many photos as I do. I'm drowning in photos . . . I am a photo-holic!

    Hi
    I think I have 2 biggest challenge...
    1) is to crack open the manual to learn the new techniques....and then practice it so that i can be good with it
    2) after taking the bunch of photos...I have a hard time DELETING the bad ones...I always feel that they have to be good for something and end up with a load of blurry pics.
    catch 22!

I guess my biggest struggle right now would be how to organize all the older photos that were developed before the age of digital! My digital photos are stored on my computer and easily accessed when I want to print them for a layout or project. It's the older ones that are still in the envelopes in bins & boxes that I struggle with when I want to scrap them.

My biggest problem is uploading the pictures from my camera to the computer or to be developed. Don't even mention backing them up. This is one of my resolutions this year is to work on pictures, hopefully motivation will set in so I will actually do it.
